Product Overview
The Hi-Vis Winter Bomber Jacket is a professionally engineered garment designed to provide reliable protection and warmth during the colder months. Balancing high-visibility safety requirements with weatherproofing, this jacket is built for longevity and comfort. It features a substantial construction that prioritises the wearer's well-being in harsh conditions, ensuring that safety does not come at the expense of quality or ease of movement.
Key Features
- Two-way front zip: Provides increased flexibility and ease of access to internal pockets or tools without needing to fully unzip the garment.
- Studded storm flap: Offers an additional layer of protection against wind and rain, preventing moisture from penetrating the zip line.
- Knitted storm cuffs: These provide a secure fit around the wrists, sealing in body heat and preventing cold drafts from entering the sleeves.
- Stain-resistant finish: The fabric is treated to repel oil and water, ensuring the jacket maintains a professional appearance even in grimy work environments.
- Double PU coating: Enhances the waterproof capabilities of the fabric, keeping the wearer dry during prolonged exposure to wet weather.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a heavy-duty 300D Oxford weave polyester, this jacket is designed for high-performance durability. The outer shell is substantial and resistant to abrasions, making it suitable for rigorous daily use. Inside, the jacket features a polyester lining and filling, providing effective thermal insulation without being overly restrictive. The double PU coating provides a reliable barrier against the elements, while the stain-resistant finish helps extend the life of the garment by keeping it cleaner for longer.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your corporate identity. Embroidery is highly recommended for adding company logos or staff names to the chest area, providing a durable and sophisticated finish that withstands regular laundering. For larger, high-impact branding on the back, our high-quality print process ensures your logo remains vibrant and visible. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on decades of experience since our founding in 1976.
Use Cases
Given its robust insulation and high-visibility properties, this jacket is ideally suited for construction site workers, logistics personnel, and roadside recovery teams. It is designed for anyone working outdoors in low-light conditions or cold temperatures where remaining seen and staying warm are equally vital for safety and productivity.

Practical Advice
As a substantial winter garment, we recommend considering the layers you intend to wear underneath when selecting your size. This jacket is designed with a generous fit to accommodate base layers and sweatshirts. If you are frequently transitioning between active work and stationary tasks, the two-way zip is particularly useful for regulating temperature without removing the jacket entirely.
Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the high-visibility materials and the waterproof coating, we recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the specialised finishes and reduce the effectiveness of the reflective elements.
Bleaching agents must be avoided as they will degrade the polyester fibres and dull the fluorescent colour, compromising the safety standards of the jacket. For the same reason, the garment should not be tumble dried; instead, it should be drip-lined dried to preserve the shape and the technical properties of the PU coating.
Ironing is not recommended as high heat can melt the synthetic fibres and the waterproof membrane. Additionally, dry cleaning should be avoided as the chemicals used can strip away the stain-resistant finish. Please note that this garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes to ensure it continues to meet safety visibility requirements.
