Product Overview
The Hi-Vis 4-in-1 Contrast Traffic Jacket is a masterclass in adaptability, designed to meet the rigorous demands of the UK workforce across all seasons. This is not merely a single garment, but a modular system offering four distinct configurations: a lightweight outer shell for rain protection, a combined outer and bodywarmer for winter warmth, a standalone bodywarmer for transitional weather, and a reversible option for added utility. Engineered with high-visibility orange and contrasting navy panels, it ensures compliance and safety in low-light environments while maintaining a professional appearance.
Key Features
- 4-in-1 Versatility: This adaptable design allows the wearer to transition between a full winter jacket and a lightweight bodywarmer, providing comfort throughout the changing British seasons.
- Taped Seams: Every seam is meticulously sealed to provide complete wind and waterproof protection, ensuring you stay dry even in prolonged adverse weather.
- Substantial Storage: Multiple pockets are strategically placed to offer ample storage for essential tools and mobile devices, keeping your equipment secure and accessible.
- Stain Resistant Finish: The outer fabric is treated to repel oil and dirt, which helps maintain the high-visibility properties and extends the life of the garment.
- Pack-away Hood: Provides immediate protection against sudden downpours and can be neatly stowed away when not required to prevent snagging on site.
Design & Performance
The jacket is constructed from 300D Oxford weave polyester, a fabric renowned for its exceptional durability and resistance to abrasions. The double PU coating provides a robust barrier against water ingress without compromising the structural integrity of the material. For warmth, the inner bodywarmer features a substantial polyester filling and a poly-cotton lining, offering a balanced blend of thermal insulation and breathability. The fit is designed to allow for natural movement, ensuring that the garment does not restrict the wearer during manual tasks or while operating machinery.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This 4-in-1 jacket is specifically designed with corporate branding in mind, featuring dedicated print access to simplify the customisation process. For companies seeking a traditional, high-end finish, our in-house embroidery service is recommended for company logos and staff names on the chest. If your branding requires large, bold graphics on the back of the outer shell, our precision printing methods ensure your message is clear and durable. Every order is managed by our expert team in Telford, who have been perfecting workwear customisation since 1976.
Use Cases
This jacket is an essential item for professionals working in construction, logistics, and roadside maintenance where high visibility is a legal and safety requirement. Its modular nature makes it particularly suitable for site managers and tradespeople who move between active outdoor sites and indoor environments throughout the day, requiring a garment that can be adjusted in seconds.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layering options you intend to use. Since this jacket includes a removable bodywarmer, the fit is naturally accommodating; however, if you plan to wear multiple heavy layers underneath the bodywarmer itself, you may wish to verify your measurements against our size guide to ensure maximum mobility.
Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the high-visibility reflective tape and the waterproof coating, we recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PU coating and reduce the effectiveness of the stain-resistant finish.
Do not use bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the polyester fibres and dull the fluorescent orange pigment, potentially compromising safety standards. This garment should not be tumble dried; instead, it should be drip-line dried to preserve the shape and the adhesive bonds of the reflective elements.
Ironing should be avoided entirely, as direct heat can melt the synthetic fabrics and the waterproof membrane. Additionally, the garment is limited to a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this point, the reflective properties may no longer meet the original safety certifications.
