Practical Advice
When selecting this apron, ensure that the 10% sodium hydroxide resistance meets the specific requirements of your workplace chemicals. For maximum protection, it should be layered over appropriate long-sleeved workwear. Due to its lightweight nature, it is easy to wear for long durations without causing fatigue, but always ensure the ties are secured comfortably to prevent snagging on machinery.
Caring for your product
To maintain the chemical resistance and antifungal properties of the FlexaTex fabric, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the breathable PU coating and compromise the waterproof barrier.
Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs. The use of bleach will cause irreversible damage to the chemical-resistant treatments and weaken the polyester fibres, significantly reducing the lifespan of the apron.
For drying, this garment should be drip line dried only. Do not tumble dry, as the intense heat of a dryer can cause the PU coating to peel or crack. Similarly, do not iron or dry clean the apron, as these processes involve heat and chemicals that will destroy the technical properties of the material.
