Do not use bleach, as this will compromise the fluorescent properties of the orange fabric, rendering it less effective for safety purposes. The garment should not be tumble dried; instead, it must be line dried to prevent heat damage that can cause the fabric to shrink or the reflective tape to peel. Similarly, do not iron or dry clean this vest.
