Product Overview
The DX4 Service Trousers represent a significant advancement in workwear engineering, specifically designed for professionals who require a high degree of mobility without compromising on garment longevity. These trousers are constructed using dynamic 4X stretch fabrics, allowing the garment to move in unison with the wearer, which is essential for tasks involving frequent bending, kneeling, or climbing. The integration of high-performance materials ensures that the trousers maintain their shape and protective qualities even under the rigours of daily service and maintenance work.
Key Features
- Dynamic 4X Stretch Fabric: This advanced material provides exceptional flexibility in all directions, significantly reducing resistance during movement and enhancing overall comfort throughout the working day.
- Integrated Crotch Gusset: By incorporating a gusset into the design, stress is redistributed away from critical seams, which effectively prevents seam failure and extends the life of the trousers.
- Strategically Positioned Cargo Pockets: These pockets are placed for optimal accessibility, allowing for the secure and convenient storage of tools and equipment without impeding movement.
- Robust Ripstop Contrast Panels: Areas prone to high wear are reinforced with ripstop fabric, providing an additional layer of protection against tears and abrasions.
Design & Performance
The technical foundation of the DX4 Service Trouser lies in its sophisticated fabric blend. The primary Titanmill Pro Stretch fabric, composed of 93% Polyester and 7% Elastane, offers a substantial yet highly flexible feel. This combination ensures the trousers are lightweight enough for active use while remaining tough enough to withstand industrial environments. The 7% elastane content is particularly significant, providing the 'snap-back' memory required to prevent the fabric from bagging at the knees or seat.
Complementing this is the Titanmill Plus Ripstop contrast fabric. The polyester-cotton ripstop weave provides a textured, durable surface in high-impact zones, ensuring that even if a small puncture occurs, it is contained within the 'grid' and does not develop into a major tear. This dual-fabric approach results in a garment that feels tailored and professional but performs like heavy-duty technical apparel.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The DX4 Service Trousers are highly suitable for branding, allowing your team to maintain a cohesive and professional appearance. For a traditional and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names; this method provides a raised, high-quality texture that withstands frequent laundering. If your branding requires larger, more vibrant graphics, our high-definition print process is an excellent alternative.
At MyWorkwear, our in-house production team in Telford has been perfecting garment customisation since 1976. We handle every stage of the process to ensure your branding is applied with precision, maintaining the integrity of the technical fabrics while ensuring your logo remains sharp and professional.
Use Cases
These trousers are an ideal choice for professionals in the service, logistics, and maintenance sectors where agility is paramount. They are equally suited for site managers and technicians who require a garment that transition seamlessly from a professional meeting to active site work. The sleek, black aesthetic ensures a modern appearance that fits well within contemporary corporate workwear requirements.

Practical Advice
The DX4 range is designed with a modern fit that sits closer to the body than traditional, baggy work trousers. If you prefer a more generous fit or intend to wear thermal base layers during colder months, you may wish to consider this when selecting your size. The inherent stretch in the waistband and main body fabric generally accommodates a wide range of movement within the standard sizing.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance characteristics of the Titanmill stretch fabrics, it is important to follow the recommended care protocol. We advise a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can degrade the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of the 4X stretch properties and potentially causing the garment to lose its shape.
Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs, as they will chemically damage the polyester fibres and cause significant discolouration to the black fabric. When drying, use a low temperature setting if using a tumble dryer, or ideally, utilise drip line drying. High heat in a dryer can 'set' creases and damage the technical finish of the material.
This garment should not be ironed. The polyester and elastane blend is naturally wrinkle-resistant, and the application of a hot iron can melt or glaze the synthetic fibres, permanently damaging the trousers. Similarly, dry cleaning is not recommended as the harsh solvents used in the process can strip the fabric of its essential properties.
