Product Overview
The DX4 Hi-Vis Class 1 Detachable Holster Pocket Craft Trousers are engineered for those who require precision and mobility in demanding environments. These trousers are part of a technical range designed to move with you, rather than against you, thanks to the strategic application of 4-way stretch fabrics. This construction allows for an impressive range of movement whether you are climbing, kneeling, or navigating a busy site. The inclusion of detachable holster pockets provides a versatile storage solution that can be adapted to the specific requirements of the day’s tasks, while the high-visibility elements ensure you remain conspicuous in low-light conditions.
Key Features
Dynamic 4-Way Stretch Fabric: The use of Titanmill Pro Stretch allows for maximum flexibility, reducing resistance when bending or stretching during physical labour.
Detachable Holster Pockets: These generously sized pockets offer secure storage for tools and fixings and can be removed when not needed, providing a streamlined profile.
Pre-bent Top Loading Knee Pad Pockets: Designed to accommodate adjustable knee pads, these pockets are ergonomically shaped to stay in place, offering essential joint protection throughout the day.
High-Rise Back Waistband: The extended waistband provides extra coverage and protection for the lower back, ensuring comfort even when crouching.
Triple-Stitched Seams: Reinforced stitching throughout the garment significantly increases its lifespan, preventing seam failure under high stress.
Design & Performance
The performance of the DX457 lies in its sophisticated material composition. The primary fabric is a medium-weight polyester and elastane blend that offers a substantial feel without being restrictive. To further enhance durability in high-wear areas, contrast panels made from a resilient nylon and elastane mix are incorporated. This combination ensures the trousers are both breathable and robust. The orange and black colour scheme is complemented by high-visibility properties that meet Class 1 standards, making them a reliable choice for professional settings where safety and visibility are paramount.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation on this specific product to ensure the technical integrity of the garment is maintained. The DX457 is constructed with complex 4-way stretch fabrics and high-visibility panels; applying heat-press or embroidery could potentially damage the elasticated fibres or obscure the high-visibility elements required for safety certification. By providing these as-is, we ensure you receive the full benefit of the manufacturer's safety and performance specifications.
Use Cases
These trousers are ideally suited for professional tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and construction workers who require a high degree of movement. They are particularly effective on sites where Class 1 high-visibility protection is required and where the storage of handheld tools and fixings needs to be readily accessible.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider that these trousers feature a side-elasticated waistband for a secure fit. If you intend to wear thermal base layers during colder months, ensure you account for the additional bulk. We also recommend pairing these with compatible knee pads to take full advantage of the adjustable, top-loading pockets.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and the elasticity of the fabric, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C. Using a normal process ensures that dirt and debris are removed without causing excessive wear to the technical fibres. It is important to note that this garment should not be laundered more than 25 times to ensure it continues to meet safety standards.
Do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester and nylon fibres and severely damage the high-visibility colour. Avoid tumble drying; instead, use drip line drying to allow the garment to return to its natural shape. Heat from tumble dryers or irons can melt the elastane components, causing the trousers to lose their stretch and structural integrity. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals involved can strip away the protective finishes of the fabric.
