Product Overview
The CV06 Cooling Towel is a purposefully engineered accessory designed to manage core body temperature during periods of intense physical exertion or environmental heat exposure. Constructed from advanced PVA padding, this blue medium-weight towel utilises a simple yet effective three-step process to activate its cooling properties, providing hours of relief for the wearer. Unlike standard towels, this specialised garment is part of our cooling protection range, specifically developed to assist professionals working in demanding climates or high-temperature industrial settings.
Key Features
- Advanced PVA Padding: The synthetic material is highly absorbent, allowing it to retain moisture and facilitate prolonged evaporative cooling.
- Three-Step Activation: The towel is designed for rapid deployment; simply soak, wring out, and snap to initiate the cooling effect.
- Core Temperature Management: Specifically tailored to provide relief for wearers enduring high levels of physical activity, helping to maintain comfort and safety on the job.
- Multipurpose Utility: Its versatile design allows it to be worn around the neck or head, depending on the specific needs of the task at hand.
Design & Performance
The CV06 is manufactured using a medium-weight PVA padding that offers a substantial feel without being cumbersome. The material choice is critical here; PVA is renowned for its ability to hold significantly more water than traditional fabrics, which in turn extends the duration of the cooling relief provided. The fabric feels smooth against the skin and remains effective as long as it stays moist. Its durability ensures it can withstand the repetitive soaking and snapping cycles required for daily use in a professional environment.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
Despite its specialised fabric, the CV06 Cooling Towel can be customised to reflect your company branding. Embroidery is an excellent choice for a distinguished professional appearance, allowing for precise rendering of company logos or staff names that will withstand the moisture-heavy nature of the product. For larger, more impactful designs that need to stand out from a distance, our high-quality print options are available.
All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility. Having been established in 1976, MyWorkwear has the technical expertise to ensure that your branding is applied with precision, maintaining the performance of the cooling fabric while ensuring your team looks the part.

This cooling towel is an essential item for construction workers, road crews, and warehouse staff operating in unventilated or outdoor environments during the summer months. Practical Advice
To maximise the effectiveness of the CV06, ensure the towel is thoroughly saturated before snapping it. If the towel begins to dry out during a shift, simply re-moisten it to reactivate the cooling process. For those working in extreme heat, keeping the towel in a cool bag until needed can provide an even more significant initial cooling effect.
Caring for your product
To maintain the specialised cooling properties of the PVA padding, it is essential to follow the recommended care instructions. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles may damage the synthetic fibres, reducing the towel's ability to retain moisture effectively.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Chlorine-based cleaners will degrade the blue pigment and can break down the structural integrity of the PVA material. For drying, this item should be drip line dried only. Never tumble dry the cooling towel, as the high heat will cause the PVA to become brittle and lose its flexibility.
Ironing is strictly prohibited, as the heat from a domestic iron will melt the synthetic padding. Similarly, do not dry clean this product, as the chemical solvents used in the process can strip the material of its unique evaporative capabilities.
