Product Overview

The ColdStore Coverall is a meticulously engineered, all-in-one garment designed specifically for individuals operating in demanding sub-zero environments. This heavy-duty coverall balances high-level thermal protection with the physical flexibility required for active work. While many cold-weather garments can feel restrictive, this design ensures the wearer remains mobile and productive without compromising on warmth.

Key Features

  • High-Visibility Reflective Tape: Strategically positioned around the chest, back, and legs, this tape ensures the wearer remains visible in the low-light conditions often found in warehouse and cold-storage facilities.
  • Oversized Hip Pockets: Designed with practical utility in mind, these pockets are generously sized to allow for easy access and storage even while wearing thick, protective gloves.
  • Reinforced Knee Patches: These provide extra durability and comfort in high-wear areas, extending the lifespan of the garment when kneeling or performing manual tasks.
  • Knee-Length Zippers & Hook and Loop Fastening: This combination allows for easy fitting over large boots, ensuring the garment can be donned or removed efficiently.
  • Integrated ID Pocket: Located on the chest for security, this clear pocket allows for immediate identification without compromising the thermal seal of the coverall.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a 100% Polyester Oxford shell with a specialized stain-resistant finish, this garment is built to withstand the rigours of industrial environments. The fabric is robust and resistant to the abrasions common in logistics and cold-chain operations. Internally, the coverall features a substantial insulating filling that provides a high level of thermal retention, complemented by a smooth polyester lining that glides over base layers.

The inclusion of back-elastication is a thoughtful design choice, ensuring that the coverall conforms to the body's movements. This reduces the 'bellows effect'—where warm air is pushed out of the garment—and ensures a consistent internal temperature is maintained throughout the working day.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

Despite its heavy-duty construction, the ColdStore Coverall is an excellent canvas for corporate branding. For a sophisticated and long-lasting professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. It is particularly well-suited for company logos and individual staff names on the chest area, as the stitching is durable enough to withstand industrial use.

For larger, high-impact branding on the back, heat-applied print is a viable alternative. This allows for bold designs that remain highly visible even from a distance. All customisation is handled at our dedicated facility in Telford by an expert team with decades of experience in technical workwear.

Use Cases

This coverall is the standard-choice equipment for professionals working in walk-in freezers, cold-storage distribution centres, and refrigerated transportation hubs. It is also highly effective for outdoor maintenance tasks during extreme winter conditions where consistent thermal protection is a safety requirement.

Why MyWorkwear

Established in 1976, MyWorkwear has spent nearly half a century perfecting the art of technical garment customisation. Based in Telford, we pride ourselves on our deep understanding of fabric performance and branding durability. When you choose us, you are benefiting from decades of expertise and a commitment to quality that only a long-standing British business can provide.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear beneath the coverall. While the back-elastication provides a flexible fit, ensuring you have enough room for a thermal base layer will maximise the garment's effectiveness. The knee-length zippers should be fully secured over boots to prevent 'cold spots' around the ankles.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical performance and stain-resistant properties of the polyester shell, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles may degrade the synthetic fibres and compromise the garment's thermal integrity.

The use of bleach must be strictly avoided. Bleaching agents will cause irreversible damage to the polyester yarns and will lead to the premature fading of the navy colour and the reflective tape.

This garment should not be tumble dried. We recommend a drip line dry approach, which allows the coverall to regain its shape naturally without the risk of shrinkage or internal padding clumping that can occur in a mechanical dryer.

Do not iron this coverall. The high heat from an iron can melt the synthetic shell and damage the internal insulating layers. Furthermore, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used in the process can strip away the stain-resistant finish.
