Product Overview
The Classic Rain Jacket is an essential piece of equipment for those required to work in foul weather conditions. This medium-weight garment is engineered to provide a reliable barrier against the elements while maintaining a focus on practicality and exceptional value. Its packable design allows it to be easily rolled up and stored when the clouds clear, making it a convenient solution for unpredictable British weather.
Key Features
- Certified to EN 343 Class 3:1 standards, ensuring tested waterproof protection for peace of mind during heavy downpours.
- The 100% polyester fabric features a PVC coating, which creates a robust, non-porous shield against wind and rain.
- An internal polyester mesh yoke at the back enhances airflow, reducing moisture build-up inside the jacket for improved wearer comfort.
- Its durable construction ensures the garment can withstand the rigours of daily use on site without compromising its protective qualities.
Design & Performance
The performance of this jacket centres on its PVC-coated polyester shell. This choice of material is specifically designed for high-intensity rain, providing a substantial feel without being overly heavy or restrictive. The smooth exterior ensures water beads and rolls off effectively, while the inclusion of a mesh yoke at the shoulder area addresses the common issue of condensation in waterproof garments.
This jacket is built for longevity. Unlike lighter alternatives that may tear under stress, this medium-weight polyester is resilient. The fit is generous enough to allow for layering over standard workwear, ensuring that your protection doesn't come at the cost of your range of movement.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This rain jacket is suitable for both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a professional appearance even in the worst conditions. Embroidery is an excellent choice for corporate logos and staff names, providing a durable and high-quality finish that withstands regular wear. For larger, more prominent branding across the back, print offers a bold and clear result that is highly visible from a distance.
All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility. With decades of experience, we ensure that every logo is applied with precision, maintaining the integrity of the garment while elevating your brand identity.
Use Cases
This jacket is ideally suited for tradespeople, delivery personnel, and site supervisors who require a portable yet effective waterproof layer. It is equally at home on a construction site as it is for outdoor maintenance tasks or event stewarding.

Practical Advice
As this is a shell jacket designed for rain protection, we recommend pairing it with a fleece or thermal base layer during colder months. The sizing is designed to be worn over existing clothing, so we suggest ordering your standard size unless you intend to wear particularly bulky insulated layers underneath.
Caring for your product
To ensure your jacket continues to provide maximum protection, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures can degrade the PVC coating, which would eventually lead to a loss of waterproof integrity.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment. Bleach is a harsh chemical that will strip the protective coating and damage the polyester fibres, significantly shortening the life of the jacket.
This item must not be tumble dried or ironed. Exposure to direct heat sources will cause the PVC coating to melt or warp, ruining the jacket's ability to repel water and potentially damaging the fabric permanently. Instead, the jacket should be drip line dried to allow it to reshape naturally.
Dry cleaning should be avoided as the solvents used in the process can dissolve the waterproof barriers. By following these simple steps, you ensure your custom branding remains vibrant and your protection remains intact.
