Product Overview
The Bizflame Work FR Jacket is a technically superior garment designed for professionals operating in environments where flame resistance and anti-static protection are non-negotiable. Engineered with a focus on both safety and longevity, this jacket utilises a substantial cotton-rich fabric to provide comfort without compromising on its protective capabilities. The inclusion of high-visibility reflective tape ensures that the wearer remains conspicuous in low-light conditions, making it an essential component of a safety-conscious uniform.
Key Features
- Triple-stitched seams: These provide exceptional structural reinforcement, ensuring the garment can withstand the physical demands of industrial work without failing at the stress points.
- Double-stitched high-visibility tape: The reflective strips are secured with reinforced stitching to prevent lifting or fraying, maintaining safety standards over the life of the jacket.
- Concealed front brass zip: This heavy-duty fastening provides a secure closure while being shielded from external heat and potential snagging hazards.
- Chest pockets with flap and stud closure: These offer secure and accessible storage for essential equipment, keeping items protected from the elements and workplace debris.
- Adjustable sleeve openings: This feature allows for a tailored fit around the wrists, preventing loose fabric from interfering with manual tasks.
Design & Performance
The jacket is constructed from Bizflame Work fabric, a specialised blend of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. This composition results in a substantial, heavy-duty material that feels sturdy to the touch while remaining breathable due to the high cotton content. The integrated carbon fibre provides vital anti-static properties, which is a critical requirement in many hazardous environments. Performance is further enhanced by the triple-stitched seams, a hallmark of well-engineered workwear that ensures the jacket remains intact even under significant mechanical stress.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Bizflame Work FR Jacket is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, allowing you to present a cohesive and professional brand image. For a classic and enduring appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names; it provides a textured, high-quality finish that withstands industrial laundering. For larger, high-impact branding, our printing services offer bold visibility. All customisation is managed in-house by our expert team in Telford, where we have been perfecting our craft since 1976. We take great care to ensure that the application of your branding does not compromise the technical integrity of the flame-resistant fabric.
Use Cases
This jacket is specifically designed for workers in the utilities, energy, and petrochemical sectors where protection against heat, flame, and static electricity is a daily requirement. It is also well-suited for site managers and tradespeople who require a durable, professional-looking outer layer that meets rigorous safety specifications while providing the practical benefits of high-visibility detailing.

Practical Advice
To ensure maximum protection, we recommend wearing this jacket in conjunction with other flame-resistant garments to provide full-body coverage. When choosing your size, consider that this is a substantial jacket designed to fit over standard work attire; a 4XL provides a generous fit for those requiring additional room for movement or layering in colder conditions.
Caring for your product
To maintain the protective properties of the Bizflame fabric and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, it is important to adhere to the recommended cleaning procedures. Maintaining the garment's cleanliness is not just about appearance; it ensures that contaminants do not interfere with the flame-resistant treatment.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a normal process. Washing at this temperature effectively removes oils and grime that could otherwise become flammable if left on the fabric. Using a higher temperature may cause unnecessary wear to the fibres and the reflective tape.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents can chemically degrade the flame-resistant finish and weaken the cotton fibres, rendering the garment unsafe for its intended use. It will also cause significant damage to any printed or embroidered logos.
If tumble drying, use a low heat setting. High heat in the drying cycle can lead to excessive shrinkage and may damage the anti-static carbon fibres woven into the fabric. Similarly, if ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C to avoid scorching the material.
Finally, this jacket should not be dry cleaned. The solvents used in dry cleaning can strip the protective treatments from the fabric, compromising the safety of the wearer. Following these steps ensures your jacket remains a reliable piece of safety equipment for as long as possible.
