Product Overview

The Super Comfort insoles are engineered for professionals who demand more from their footwear than simple padding. These insoles are a technical addition to your workwear kit, designed specifically to address the physical strain of being on your feet for extended shifts. By focusing on both pressure distribution and hygiene, they provide a comprehensive solution for foot health within industrial and commercial environments.

Key Features

  • Shock Absorbing Technology: These insoles are designed to dissipate the impact forces generated with every step, which significantly reduces the strain on your ankles, knees, and lower back throughout the working day.
  • Pressure Redistribution: The clever design includes a specific transfer area that spreads the load across the bottom of the foot, preventing the development of painful pressure points and hot spots.
  • Active Carbon Layer: The inclusion of active carbons provides both anti-odour and antimicotic properties, proactively managing foot hygiene and keeping your footwear fresher for longer.
  • Orthopaedic Compliance: These are made-to-measure footbeds that comply with European DGUV112-191 norms, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for professional orthopaedic support.
  • Anti-Static Protection: Featuring a specialized anti-static stitch, these insoles ensure that the safety integrity of your anti-static footwear is maintained, preventing unwanted electrical discharge.

Design & Performance

The Super Comfort insoles are exceptionally lightweight, ensuring they do not add unnecessary bulk to your boots. The construction prioritises durability without sacrificing the flexibility needed for a natural gait. The active carbon layer is integrated into the fabric composition to provide a continuous barrier against bacteria and fungi, which is vital for those wearing heavy-duty boots in warm or high-activity environments. Performance is further enhanced by the orthopaedic shaping, which supports the natural arch of the foot to reduce fatigue.

Why No Customisation?

We do not offer customisation or branding on the Super Comfort insoles for several practical and technical reasons. As an internal component of your footwear, any embroidery or print would be entirely hidden from view. More importantly, adding stitching or heat-applied transfers could damage the delicate active carbon layer or interfere with the anti-static stitch, potentially compromising the safety and orthopaedic certifications of the product.

Use Cases

These insoles are an essential upgrade for anyone working in sectors such as logistics, construction, or manufacturing. They are particularly effective for workers who spend long hours standing on hard substrates like concrete or steel, where natural shock absorption is non-existent. They are also highly recommended for individuals working in sensitive environments where anti-static protection is a mandatory safety requirement.

Why MyWorkwear

Our decades of experience ensure that we only supply products that meet the demanding standards of the modern British workforce.

Practical Advice

When installing these insoles, we recommend removing the existing footbed from your boots first. Layering insoles can often lead to a tight fit across the bridge of the foot and may cause your heel to slip. Ensure the insole is pushed firmly into the toe of the boot to avoid any bunching, which could lead to discomfort during use.

Caring for your product

To ensure the longevity of the Super Comfort insoles and maintain their technical properties, a regular care routine is necessary.

We recommend removing the insoles from your footwear at the end of each day. This allows the moisture trapped within the active carbon layer to evaporate, which is essential for maintaining the antimicotic and anti-odour benefits. Without this airing time, the technical layers can become saturated and lose their effectiveness.

If the insoles become soiled, they should be wiped down with a damp cloth and left to air dry naturally. Never place them on a direct heat source such as a radiator or in a tumble dryer. Excessive heat can cause the orthopaedic materials to warp or shrink, which would ruin the fit and compromise the pressure-redistribution benefits.
