The Lumiar is available in specific widths to ensure a better fit, with a 10.5 width for women and a 12 width for men. For those with specific podiatric requirements, these shoes are compatible with orthopaedic made-to-measure footbeds, complying with European DGUV112-191 norms. We recommend ensuring your socks are also made of breathable materials to fully benefit from the shoe's vapour permeability features.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of your safety footwear, regular care is essential. Debris should be removed from the technical fabric upper using a soft brush or damp cloth to prevent dirt from clogging the breathable fibres, which could otherwise reduce the effectiveness of the vapour permeability.
If the shoes become wet, they should be allowed to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources such as radiators. Forcing the drying process can cause the technical materials and the TPU scuff cap to become brittle or warp, potentially compromising the structural integrity of the shoe.
The antibacterial SmellStop lining is designed to be permanent, but keeping the shoes in a dry, cool environment when not in use will help prolong its efficacy. Regularly checking the outsole for debris will also ensure the slip-resistant properties and ladder grip remain effective for your safety.
