Performance is further enhanced by the shock absorption in the heel region, which reduces the impact on joints during repetitive movement. The inclusion of the Dry'n Air COMFORT CUB3 base lining ensures that the foot remains cushioned, while the orthopaedic-ready design allows for made-to-measure footbeds that comply with European DGUV112-191 standards. Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation on the Istanbul S3S low shoe to ensure the structural integrity and safety certifications remain intact. Modifying safety footwear through embroidery or printing can compromise the water-resistant properties of the suede or interfere with the ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) capabilities. Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please note that these shoes are designed with gender-specific widths to provide better lateral support. We recommend wearing a technical work sock rather than standard cotton to assist with the moisture-wicking properties of the SmellStop lining. If you use custom orthotic insoles, these shoes are designed to accommodate them while maintaining their safety certification, provided they meet the relevant DGUV norms.
Caring for your product
Maintaining your safety footwear is essential for ensuring the long-term performance of the technical materials and the continued protection of your feet.
Do not wash these shoes in a domestic washing machine. Submerging the suede leather and technical internal components in water can degrade the adhesives and ruin the texture of the suede, leading to a loss of structural support. Instead, brush off dry dirt with a soft brush and use a damp cloth for stubborn marks.
Never use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners. These substances can break down the TPU skin and Air Tech outsole, potentially compromising the slip resistance and oil-resistant properties of the shoe. If the shoes become wet, allow them to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Avoid placing them directly on a radiator, as excessive heat can cause the suede to crack and the internal safety inserts to warp.
Ironing is strictly prohibited and entirely unnecessary. High heat will damage the synthetic linings and the Fresh'n Flex insole, rendering the puncture resistance and antibacterial properties ineffective.
