They are also compliant with DGUV112-191 norms, meaning they can be fitted with orthopaedic made-to-measure footbeds if required by a medical professional. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend choosing your standard UK shoe size as the SlimCap toe-cap provides ample room for toe movement.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the performance and safety integrity of your Yellowstone Trainers is essential for extending their lifespan and ensuring continued protection. Regular cleaning prevents the build-up of debris that can interfere with the shoe’s technical features.
We recommend cleaning the uppers with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid a domestic wash or mechanical drying, as the high temperatures and agitation can degrade the adhesives used in the Tpu-Skin outsole and compromise the structural bond of the trainer.
Never use bleach or harsh chemical solvents on the recycled fabric. These substances can strip the water-resistant coating and weaken the puncture-resistant fabric insole, potentially leaving you vulnerable to workplace hazards.
Always allow the footwear to dry naturally in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources such as radiators. Forcing the drying process with heat can cause the fabric to become brittle and the internal toe-cap housing to warp. Finally, do not iron the footwear, as the intense heat will melt the technical membranes and destroy the anti-fatigue properties of the sole.
