Product Overview

The Kea Action Trouser is a foundational piece of professional workwear, designed to meet the rigorous demands of the modern workplace while maintaining a crisp, professional aesthetic. This specific iteration comes in a versatile black, featuring a 28-inch waist and a regular leg length, making it an essential choice for those requiring a precise fit. The "Action" design philosophy focuses on mobility, ensuring that whether you are climbing ladders, navigating a warehouse, or attending site meetings, your movement remains unrestricted.

Key Features
  • Action-cut tailoring: The specific design of these trousers allows for an enhanced range of motion, reducing fabric resistance when bending or kneeling.
  • Deep black colourway: The fabric is dyed to ensure a long-lasting, professional appearance that effectively masks everyday workplace dust and debris.
  • Durable construction: Every seam and stitch is engineered to provide longevity, ensuring the garment remains a staple of your work wardrobe through many shift cycles.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Kea Action Trouser is rooted in its balance of durability and comfort. The material is substantial enough to provide protection against the friction encountered in trade environments, yet it remains breathable enough for all-day wear. Unlike standard trousers, the Action Trouser is cut to accommodate the physical nature of trade work, preventing the tightness or pulling that can often lead to premature wear in the seat or knees. The black finish provides a neutral base that pairs easily with any corporate colour scheme, ensuring your team maintains a unified and authoritative appearance.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

For businesses looking to reinforce their brand identity, the Kea Action Trouser is an excellent candidate for customisation. We find that embroidery is the preferred choice for a truly professional finish; adding a company logo or individual name in thread provides a tactile, high-quality look that stands up exceptionally well to the rigours of the job. Alternatively, for those requiring high-impact, bold branding, our heat-seal print techniques offer a sharp and vibrant finish.

All customisation is handled in-house at our Telford facility. Since 1976, our expert team has been perfecting the art of garment decoration, ensuring that your branding is applied with the technical precision your business deserves.

Use Cases

These trousers are ideally suited for trade professionals across various sectors, including plumbing, electrical work, and general construction. Their smart appearance also makes them a popular choice for facility management teams and warehouse operatives who require a garment that is both practical and presentable for client-facing tasks.

Practical Advice

To ensure the best fit, we recommend confirming your measurements against a standard 28-inch waist and regular leg length before ordering. These trousers are designed to be versatile; for colder environments, they provide ample room to be paired with thermal base layers without compromising your range of movement.

Caring for your product

Maintaining your workwear is essential for ensuring both the performance of the fabric and the longevity of your custom branding. A regular cleaning schedule prevents the build-up of abrasive particles that can degrade fabric fibres over time.

We recommend following the wash temperature indicated on the internal care label; washing at the correct temperature prevents the fibres from shrinking and ensures the trousers maintain their original fit. Avoid using bleach or aggressive chemical cleaners, as these will strip the black dye and weaken the structural integrity of the material.

When drying, air drying is generally preferred to maintain fabric flexibility. If you must use a tumble dryer, use a low heat setting to prevent the material from becoming brittle. For a sharp finish, iron on a medium heat setting, taking care to iron on the reverse side of any printed branding to avoid damage.
