Product Overview

The Nimbus Womens Kendrick is a sophisticated quilted jacket designed for the modern professional who requires a balance of technical performance and contemporary style. This hybrid-style garment is engineered to be exceptionally lightweight, providing necessary warmth without the restrictive bulk often associated with insulated outerwear. Its distinctive V-shape quilted body is not merely an aesthetic choice; it ensures a flattering, tailored fit for the female form while maintaining the even distribution of the internal insulation.

Whether worn as a standalone outer layer during transitional seasons or utilised as a thermal mid-layer, the Kendrick offers remarkable versatility. Its integration capabilities allow it to function as a modular component within a broader workwear system, adapting effortlessly to changing weather conditions and work environments.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Kendrick jacket is an excellent canvas for corporate branding, supporting both high-definition print and intricate embroidery. For a refined and authoritative appearance, we recommend embroidery; it is the ideal choice for company logos or staff names, offering a durable and textured finish that withstands regular wear. Our in-house team in Telford uses state-of-the-art machinery to ensure every stitch meets the high standards we have maintained since 1976.

Alternatively, if your branding requires a larger, more impactful visual, our printing services provide vibrant results that remain sharp. Regardless of the method chosen, our technical experts ensure that the application process respects the integrity of the jacket's water-repellent finish and lightweight polyester fabric.

Key Features
  • V-Shape Quilted Body: This design provides a structured, feminine silhouette while securing the insulation in place to prevent cold spots.
  • Snap-Button Side Pockets: Secure storage for essential items, ensuring belongings remain safe and accessible while on the move.
  • Modular Attachment System: Features a dedicated strap at the sleeve for seamless attachment to the Whitestone outer jacket, allowing for a customisable 3-in-1 weather protection system.
  • Bionic Finish ECO: A sustainable, water-repellent coating that ensures light rain beads off the surface, keeping you dry during short commutes or outdoor tasks.
  • Sustainable Sorona Aura Insulation: Utilises bio-based materials to provide superior thermal retention while supporting your company's environmental commitments.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Kendrick jacket is rooted in its advanced material composition. The outer shell and lining are crafted from a lightweight, high-density polyester that provides a smooth, professional sheen while remaining resilient against daily wear. The heart of its thermal performance is the Sorona Aura insulation, which incorporates 30% bio-based fabric. This innovative padding offers a high warmth-to-weight ratio, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable without the burden of a heavy garment.

The inclusion of the Bionic Finish ECO further enhances its utility. This fluorine-free water-repellent finish protects the fabric from moisture and soil, ensuring the jacket maintains its clean, professional appearance even in unpredictable British weather. The attention to detail extends to the internal finish, where the lightweight lining ensures smooth layering over shirts or knitwear.

Use Cases

This jacket is perfectly suited for corporate environments, site visits, and client-facing roles where a professional image is paramount. It is an ideal choice for management teams, hospitality staff, or any professional who transitions frequently between office and outdoor settings. Its lightweight nature also makes it a practical option for staff who travel frequently, as it provides warmth without occupying excessive space in transit.

Why MyWorkwear

Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has been at the forefront of the UK workwear industry since 1976. Based in Telford, we combine decades of heritage with modern customisation techniques. We understand that your workwear is a reflection of your brand's standards, which is why every garment, including the Nimbus Kendrick, is handled with technical precision and care by our experienced team.

Practical Advice

The Kendrick is designed with a feminine, fashionable fit. We recommend reviewing the specific size guide, which covers UK sizes 8 through 20 (XS to 3XL), to ensure the best silhouette. If you intend to use this primarily as a zip-in liner for the Whitestone jacket, consider your usual layering habits to ensure a comfortable fit across the shoulders and chest.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical integrity of your Kendrick jacket, it is essential to care for the fabric correctly. Proper maintenance ensures that the water-repellent finish remains effective and the Sorona Aura insulation retains its loft and thermal properties over time.

When cleaning, avoid the use of biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can break down the Bionic Finish ECO coating, reducing the jacket's ability to repel water. Ensuring the snap buttons are closed during the wash cycle will prevent unnecessary abrasion against the quilted fabric, preserving the garment's refined appearance for longer.
