Product Overview

The Nimbus Womens Georgetown is a sophisticated interpretation of the classic crew neck sweatshirt, designed for those who require a professional silhouette without compromising on comfort. This is not a standard utility garment; it is a refined, luxury alternative to traditional knitwear, offering a clean and minimal aesthetic that suits a modern business environment. Constructed from premium organic cotton, it provides a substantial, heavyweight feel while maintaining an effortlessly elegant appearance.

Key Features

  • Double-Stitched Seams: These provide enhanced durability and ensure the garment maintains its structural integrity through repeated wear and washing.

  • Raglan Sleeves: This design choice offers a superior range of motion and a modern, tailored fit around the shoulders.

  • Side-Gusset Detailing: These subtle additions provide shape and structure, ensuring the sweatshirt retains its professional profile over time.

  • Elastic Ribbed Sleeves and Hem: These elements ensure a secure, comfortable fit that prevents the garment from riding up or losing its shape.

  • Organic Cotton Construction: Certified organic materials offer a softer hand-feel and support sustainable textile production practices.

Design & Performance

As part of our heavyweight collection, the Georgetown sweatshirt offers a sturdy and premium feel that is immediately apparent upon handling. The unbrushed interior provides a pleasant, light sensation against the skin, making it suitable for year-round wear in temperature-controlled professional environments. The inclusion of knitted tone-in-tone necktape and a minimal design philosophy ensures that the garment performs as a high-end fashion piece as much as a piece of functional workwear.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth, high-quality surface of the organic cotton makes this sweatshirt an ideal canvas for customisation. For businesses seeking a truly professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. Our Telford-based team can expertly stitch logos or staff names onto the chest or sleeve, providing a textured, long-lasting finish that complements the garment's luxury status.

For larger, more vibrant designs, the tight weave of the fabric also supports high-definition printing. Whether you choose embroidery for its classic professional look or print for its bold impact, all customisation is handled in-house by the MyWorkwear team, leveraging decades of expertise since our establishment in 1976.

Use Cases

The Nimbus Georgetown is perfectly suited for customer-facing roles, management staff, and corporate hospitality environments where a smart-casual dress code is required. It serves as an excellent uniform choice for boutique retail, creative agencies, or any business looking to project an image of quality and attention to detail.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear has spent decades perfecting the art of professional clothing. Operating from our facility in Telford, we combine traditional expertise with modern techniques to ensure your branding is applied with precision. We understand that your workwear is a reflection of your business standards, which is why we only supply garments that meet our own high expectations for quality and durability.

Practical Advice

This sweatshirt is available in a wide size range from XS to 3XL. Due to the raglan sleeve construction, it provides a more versatile fit across different body shapes. For a sharp, professional look when layering over a blouse or shirt, we recommend selecting your standard size according to our size guide.

Caring for your product

To maintain the premium finish and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to clean the organic fibres without causing unnecessary heat stress to the fabric or the embroidery threads.

Do not use bleach, as these harsh chemicals will break down the organic cotton fibres and cause the colour of the garment to fade prematurely. We also advise against tumble drying; air drying is the best method to preserve the sweatshirt's shape and prevent any potential shrinkage.

If ironing is required, use a maximum sole-plate temperature of 150°C and avoid ironing directly over any printed designs. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used can be detrimental to the elasticated ribs and the soft texture of the organic cotton.
