Product Overview

The KX3 Sport Textured 1/4 Zip Sweatshirt is a sophisticated addition to the modern workwear wardrobe, bridging the gap between technical sportswear and professional attire. Constructed from an innovative textured knit fabric, this lightweight garment is specifically engineered for those who require an adaptable layer for active environments. The 1/4 zip design allows for efficient temperature regulation, making it as practical for site work as it is for the commute. This sweatshirt is designed to provide a sleek, athletic profile without compromising the durability expected of the KX3 range.

Key Features
  • Innovative Anti-Pill and Anti-Snag Fabric: The 100% polyester textured knit is designed to resist the surface wear and catching that often plagues standard knitwear, ensuring a long-lasting professional appearance.
  • Integrated Chest Pocket: Features a secure zip-closure pocket on the chest, providing a convenient and safe location for mobile devices or essential documentation.
  • Elasticated Cuffs and Hems: These provide a secure and consistent fit, preventing draughts and ensuring the sleeves stay in place during manual tasks.
  • 1/4 Zip Closure: Enhances the garment's versatility, allowing the wearer to vent heat during high-activity periods or zip up for warmth in cooler conditions.

Design & Performance

The performance of the KX376 is centered around its technical polyester composition. The textured knit is not merely an aesthetic choice; it increases the surface area for moisture dispersion, aiding breathability. This is a lightweight item, designed to offer warmth without the restrictive bulk of a traditional heavy fleece. The inclusion of anti-snag technology is particularly beneficial for tradespeople working in confined spaces or near machinery, where standard fabrics might easily catch and tear.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This sweatshirt is a superb canvas for corporate branding. For a truly professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery. The stability of the textured knit allows for high-density stitching of logos and names, creating a premium look that withstands industrial use. Alternatively, for larger and more graphic designs, print remains a viable and effective option. Our in-house team, based in Telford since 1976, oversees the entire customisation process to ensure your branding meets our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This garment is perfectly suited for technical engineers, warehouse supervisors, and site managers who require a professional yet functional middle layer. It is equally effective as a standalone outer layer in milder conditions or for indoor environments where maintaining a corporate image is essential while remaining mobile.

Practical Advice

This sweatshirt is designed with an athletic fit in mind. While it is lightweight and ideal for layering over a base t-shirt, we recommend checking your measurements against our size guide. If you prefer a more relaxed fit for wearing over heavier shirts, you may wish to consider a size larger than your usual choice.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical integrity and the anti-pill finish of this sweatshirt, it is vital to follow the care instructions carefully. Proper maintenance ensures the garment continues to perform and look its best for the duration of its life.

We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Using higher temperatures can degrade the synthetic fibres and may negatively impact the longevity of any custom embroidery or print.

Do not use bleach on this garment, as it will damage the polyester structure and cause discolouration. To preserve the shape and fit, do not tumble dry; instead, the item should be line dried. Exposure to the high heat of a tumble dryer can cause shrinkage and damage the elasticated components.

Ironing is not permitted for this product. The textured knit is naturally resilient to creasing, and direct heat from an iron could melt the polyester fibres. Furthermore, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals involved can strip the fabric of its performance-enhancing properties.
