Product Overview

The Nimbus Womens Eastlake jacket is a sophisticated piece of outerwear designed for those who require warmth without the encumbrance of a heavy, bulky garment. This lightweight, insulated jacket balances a clean, modern aesthetic with technical functionality, making it an essential addition to any professional wardrobe. The feminine silhouette is achieved through a streamlined design that omits traditional ribbing, opting instead for a wind placket that covers the main zip to maintain a polished appearance in any corporate or outdoor setting.

Key Features
  • Secure Zipped Pockets: Provides safe storage for essential tools or personal items, ensuring they remain protected while you are on the move.
  • Wind-Protective Cuffs: These specialised cuffs prevent cold air from entering the sleeves, maintaining your core temperature during external site visits.
  • Stretchable Outer Fabric: The inclusion of Spandex allows the garment to move with you, providing flexibility that standard insulated jackets often lack.
  • Wind Placket: Positioned over the main zip, this feature adds an extra layer of protection against biting winds while contributing to the jacket's sleek, feminine profile.
  • Sustainable Materials: Utilising recycled polyamide and polyester, this jacket supports environmental initiatives without compromising on performance or durability.

Design & Performance

Engineered with a focus on durability and weather resistance, the Eastlake jacket features a shell composed of 86% recycled polyamide and 14% Spandex. This combination creates a resilient exterior that resists the rigours of daily wear while offering significant elasticity for comfort. The fabric is treated with a BIONIC FINISH ECO water-repellent impregnation, providing a 3000mm water resistance rating that protects against light rain and drizzle.

Performance is further enhanced by a breathable TPU membrane, rated at 3000g/m/24h, which allows moisture and heat to escape from within the garment, preventing the wearer from becoming clammy during physical activity. The internal insulation utilizes Sorona Aura eco-efficient performance fibre, which provides superior warmth-to-weight ratios, ensuring you remain comfortable in fluctuating British temperatures without the weight of traditional padding.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Eastlake jacket is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery, allowing your brand to be presented with technical precision. For a traditional and highly professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names. This method provides a textured, premium finish that is hard-wearing and resists fading over time.

If your branding requires larger, more vibrant graphics, our high-quality printing services offer a bold alternative that remains sharp against the jacket's matte finish. Our in-house team, based in Telford and established since 1976, oversees every stage of the customisation process to ensure your branding meets our rigorous quality standards.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideally suited for professionals who transition between office environments and external meetings, such as property managers, project coordinators, and executive teams. Its lightweight nature also makes it a preferred choice for hospitality staff and corporate events where a unified, professional appearance is required regardless of the weather.

Practical Advice

The Eastlake jacket is designed with a feminine fit; we recommend reviewing the size guide (ranging from XS to 3XL) to ensure the correct fit, particularly if you intend to layer it over a thicker sweatshirt or knitwear. Its lightweight profile makes it an excellent outer layer for transitional seasons like spring and autumn.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-performance characteristics of the recycled fabrics and the integrity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can degrade the technical TPU membrane and the elasticity of the Spandex fibres.

Do not use bleach, as this will cause irreversible damage to the fabric's colour and the eco-efficient SORONA insulation. We advise against tumble drying; instead, allow the jacket to air dry naturally to preserve the BIONIC FINISH ECO water-repellent treatment and prevent shrinkage.

Ironing and dry cleaning should be strictly avoided. The heat from an iron can melt the synthetic shell and padding, while the harsh chemicals used in dry cleaning will strip the jacket of its water-resistant properties and breathability.
