Product Overview

The Nimbus Duxbury is a refined performance softshell jacket designed for the professional who requires a balance between technical functionality and a sharp, fashionable appearance. While we cannot promise it will make the British weather any more predictable, this medium-weight garment ensures you remain well-protected and presentable whether you are on-site or in a boardroom. Crafted specifically for men, it offers a streamlined silhouette that moves with you, avoiding the bulk often associated with traditional outdoor workwear.

Key Features
  • Performance Softshell Fabric: The polyester blend construction provides a flexible barrier against the elements, allowing for natural movement during physical tasks without compromising on durability.
  • Professional Colour Selection: Available in Black, Navy, and Grey Melange, these classic tones provide a sophisticated backdrop for corporate branding.
  • Extensive Size Range: With sizes ranging from Small to 4XL, this jacket allows for a consistent professional appearance across your entire workforce.

Design & Performance

Engineered from a substantial polyester blend, the Duxbury is a medium-weight jacket that feels sturdy without being restrictive. The fabric is chosen for its ability to withstand the daily rigours of a professional environment, featuring reinforced construction that ensures it won't fall apart after a few weeks on the job. Its performance-led design focuses on breathability and wind resistance, making it a reliable choice for the unpredictable transitions between indoor and outdoor work.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation.

Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance — ideal for logos and names — and stands up to repeated washing without fading. Print is better suited to large, bold designs and a broader colour range, ensuring high-impact visibility for your brand. Our in-house team, established in 1976, handles all customisation in Telford to ensure every garment meets our rigorous standards.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideally suited for site managers, surveyors, and business owners who require a versatile layer that bridges the gap between technical outerwear and smart-casual office attire. It is equally effective as a premium uniform for client-facing staff or as a protective layer for tradespeople who value a professional image.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been providing high-quality solutions from our base in Telford. With nearly five decades of expertise, we understand that your workwear needs to be as hardworking as you are. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern garment technology to ensure your team looks professional and stays protected.

Practical Advice

As a medium-weight layer, the Duxbury is designed for a modern, tailored fit. If you intend to wear heavy knitwear or multiple layers beneath it, you may wish to consider selecting one size larger than your usual measurement to ensure maximum comfort and mobility.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of your jacket, it is essential to follow the specific instructions located on the internal care label. Adhering to the recommended washing temperatures prevents the polyester fibres from breaking down, which ensures the jacket retains its shape over time.

Avoiding harsh chemicals and bleach is crucial, as these can strip the fabric of its performance properties and cause your custom embroidery or print to degrade prematurely. Proper drying techniques will also help to maintain the garment's integrity, ensuring your investment continues to represent your business effectively for years to come.
