Product Overview
The Larkwood Organic t-shirt is a masterfully constructed garment designed specifically for the youngest demographic. Recognising the importance of both comfort and durability in infant wear, this t-shirt is produced from 100% organic cotton with a single Jersey weave. The result is a soft-to-the-touch fabric that is gentle on sensitive skin while maintaining the robust qualities required for daily wear and frequent laundering. Whether used for nursery uniforms or promotional merchandise, it offers a professional and ethical foundation for your branding.
Key Features
100% Organic Cotton: This high-quality material ensures a soft, breathable finish that provides maximum comfort for infants throughout the day.
Twin-Needle Stitching: Located at the neck, hem, and sleeves, this reinforcement ensures the t-shirt retains its shape and resists fraying, even with active use.
Ribbed Crew Neck: The inclusion of a ribbed neckline allows for easy dressing while ensuring the collar stays flat and professional after repeated wear.
Tag-Free Design: By removing large neck labels and using a discreet size pip, we have eliminated a common source of irritation for infants, making the garment more comfortable to wear.
Design & Performance
Engineered with a focus on longevity, this t-shirt features a lightweight but substantial fabric construction that balances breathability with durability. The organic cotton is not only better for the environment but also provides a superior surface for customisation compared to standard blends. The single Jersey weave creates a smooth, flat surface that ensures your logos and designs are displayed with clarity and precision. Furthermore, the garment carries several prestigious accreditations, including Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and SEDEX, providing peace of mind regarding the safety and ethical standards of its production.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This versatile garment is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery. For a traditional, high-end professional look, embroidery is highly recommended for logos and names, offering a three-dimensional finish that stands up exceptionally well to washing. Alternatively, our precision printing is ideal for larger, more vibrant designs that need to make a bold impact.
Each customisation project is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford. We have been refining our techniques since 1976, ensuring that your branding is applied with the technical precision required for a lasting, professional appearance.
Use Cases
This t-shirt is an excellent choice for childcare providers, nursery schools, and family-focused businesses looking for high-quality uniform solutions. It also serves as a premium option for retail brands or event organisers who require sustainable, brandable infant clothing that doesn't compromise on quality.

Practical Advice
Given the wide size range from 0/3 months up to 24/36 months, we recommend reviewing the specific size guide to ensure the best fit. For smaller sizes, consider keeping your embroidered designs compact to maintain the natural drape and comfort of the lightweight fabric.
Caring for your product
To preserve the life of the organic cotton and the quality of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. Washing at higher temperatures can lead to shrinkage and may affect the vibrancy of the fabric over time.
Bleaching should be avoided entirely, as the harsh chemicals will weaken the organic fibres and lead to significant discolouration. To prevent heat damage and maintain the garment's shape, do not tumble dry; air drying is the best method for ensuring the longevity of both the fabric and any printed motifs.
When ironing, use a medium setting (two dots) and ensure you do not iron directly onto any decoration. Direct heat can melt or distort prints and damage embroidery threads. Finally, always wash dark colours separately to prevent any dye transfer onto lighter items in the load.
