Product Overview

The Kustom Kit Women's Workplace Oxford Blouse is a cornerstone of the professional uniform, specifically engineered for the corporate environment where appearance and longevity are equally paramount. This long-sleeved garment features a tailored fit that provides a contemporary, sharp silhouette while remaining comfortable throughout the working day. Constructed from a high-quality cotton-rich blend, it offers the natural breathability of cotton paired with the resilience of polyester, making it an ideal choice for teams requiring a reliable, high-performance wardrobe staple.

Key Features
  • Soft Interlined Fused Stand-Up Collar: Designed to maintain its shape and professional structure, ensuring you look crisp from the first meeting to the end of the shift.
  • Tailored Fit: Provides a more refined and contoured shape, offering a professional aesthetic that complements the wearer's figure.
  • Reinforced Construction: Features single-stitched yoke and armhole seams, alongside double-stitched side and sleeve seams, for enhanced durability in high-stress areas.
  • Easy-Iron Properties: Treated to resist heavy creasing, this fabric simplifies maintenance and ensures a smooth finish with minimal effort.
  • Extended Size Range: Available in sizes 6 to 28, ensuring a consistent brand image across your entire workforce.

Design & Performance

The performance of this blouse lies in its well-considered fabric composition. The 70% cotton and 30% polyester blend creates a lightweight fabric that is both soft against the skin and exceptionally hard-wearing. The inclusion of polyester is a technical choice that significantly increases the garment's lifespan and its resistance to the typical wear and tear of a busy office or hospitality environment.

Functional design elements such as the back yoke and twin pleats at the back allow for a greater range of movement, preventing the fabric from pulling across the shoulders. The rounded hem offers versatility, allowing the blouse to be worn tucked in for a formal look or untucked for a slightly more relaxed professional appearance. The adjustable button cuffs with pointed plackets further demonstrate the attention to detail and craftsmanship Kustom Kit is known for.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This Oxford blouse serves as an excellent canvas for corporate branding. We recommend embroidery for a sophisticated, executive look. Our in-house embroidery team in Telford uses high-tensile threads to ensure your logo remains vibrant and securely attached, even after frequent laundering. This method is particularly effective for chest logos or individual names, providing a textured, premium finish.

For larger, bold branding requirements—perhaps for promotional events or specific team identifiers—high-quality print customisation is also available. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has refined the art of garment decoration, ensuring that every stitch and every print meets our rigorous quality standards before it leaves our facility.

Use Cases

This blouse is expertly suited for front-of-house roles in hospitality, corporate office environments, and the finance sector. Its durability and ease of care also make it a practical choice for estate agents, retail management, and administrative staff who require a smart, uniform appearance day after day.

Practical Advice

Due to the tailored fit of this blouse, we recommend reviewing the sizing guide to ensure the best fit for your team. The lightweight nature of the fabric makes it perfect for layering under a blazer or V-neck knitwear during colder months without adding unnecessary bulk. For those between sizes, the double-stitched seams provide enough structural integrity to maintain the garment's shape even with regular movement.

Caring for your product

To maintain the professional finish and structural integrity of your blouse, we recommend a machine wash at temperatures up to 50°C. This higher temperature capability is particularly useful for removing persistent stains common in hospitality environments while ensuring the fabric remains hygienic.

You should avoid the use of bleach at all times. Chlorine and other bleaching agents will weaken the cotton fibres and cause premature degradation of the fabric, leading to a loss of colour and strength.

We advise against tumble drying this garment. Allowing the blouse to air dry on a hanger reduces deep creasing and prevents potential shrinkage, which can occur with high-heat mechanical drying. For the best results, use a two-dot iron setting while the garment is slightly damp to achieve a perfectly crisp, professional appearance.

Professional dry cleaning is not recommended, as the chemicals used can interfere with the easy-iron finish and the integrity of any applied customisation.
