Product Overview
The Kustom Kit Women’s Stretch Oxford Shirt is a refined, contemporary take on a classic workwear staple. Engineered for the modern professional, this tailored-fit shirt blends the traditional aesthetic of an Oxford weave with the functional benefits of modern fabric technology. It is designed to provide a sharp, clean silhouette without sacrificing the range of motion required in a busy work environment. Whether for front-of-house hospitality or a formal corporate setting, this garment offers a consistent, high-standard appearance that reflects well on any brand.
Key Features
- Front and Back Darts: Two bust darts at the front and two darts at the back create a structured, tailored shape that follows the natural contours of the body for a professional finish.
- Adjustable Cuffs: The buttoned cuff placket allows for a customisable fit around the wrist, ensuring comfort throughout the working day.
- Fused Stand-Up Collar: The collar is reinforced to maintain its crisp shape, providing a sharp look even when worn without a tie or under a jacket.
- Easy Care Fabric: Specifically designed to reduce the time spent on maintenance, this fabric blend resists excessive creasing and is straightforward to launder.
- Rounded Hem: This design feature allows the shirt to look equally professional whether tucked in or worn out, depending on the requirements of your uniform policy.
Design & Performance
This shirt is constructed from a sophisticated blend of 58% cotton, 39% polyester, and 3% Lycra. The high cotton content ensures breathability and a soft handle against the skin, while the polyester adds essential durability and colour retention. The inclusion of Lycra is what sets this garment apart; it provides a subtle stretch that allows the fabric to move with the wearer, preventing the restrictive feel often associated with traditional tailored shirts. At a refined, lightweight weight, it is ideal for year-round wear and comfortable layering under knitwear or blazers.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The KK782 is an exceptional canvas for brand identity. For a traditional, high-end professional look, we recommend embroidery. The stability of the Oxford weave supports intricate logos and text on the chest, collar, or cuff, creating a durable and prestigious finish. For larger promotional designs or bold branding, high-quality printing is also a viable option. Our Telford-based team, who have been perfecting their craft since 1976, will ensure your branding is applied with precision, helping your team stand out for all the right reasons.
Use Cases
This shirt is perfectly suited for professionals in the hospitality sector, corporate offices, and retail environments where a smart appearance is non-negotiable. Its tailored fit makes it a popular choice for sales teams and front-desk staff who require a uniform that is both stylish and practical for long shifts.

Practical Advice
The tailored fit of this shirt is designed to be slim-fitting. If you prefer a more relaxed feel or are between sizes, we recommend consulting our size guide and potentially moving up one size. The stretch fabric does provide flexibility, but the darts are fixed to maintain a specific shape. For a complete corporate look, pair this with a well-fitted blazer or a lightweight V-neck jumper.
Caring for your product
To maintain the integrity of the Lycra and ensure your shirt remains in peak condition, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C using a synthetic cycle. Excessive heat can damage the elastic fibres, so following this temperature guideline is essential for preserving the shirt's stretch and shape.
Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric fibres and lead to premature wear and discolouration. To dry, we advise hanging the garment naturally rather than using a tumble dryer. Tumble drying can cause shrinkage and may impact the longevity of the custom branding.
When ironing, use a medium heat setting. This is sufficient to remove wrinkles from the cotton-polyester blend without the risk of scorching the synthetic components. Do not dry clean, as the chemicals used in the process can be too harsh for the fabric and its stretch properties.
