Product Overview
The Kustom Kit Superwash 60 pique polo with Cooltex Plus is a sophisticated solution for professionals who require a garment that performs under pressure. This is not a standard polo shirt; it has been engineered by technologists to bridge the gap between smart corporate attire and high-performance activewear. By utilising a specialized pique knit, this garment offers a refined texture that remains breathable throughout a full shift, ensuring the wearer stays comfortable regardless of the environment.
Key Features
- Cooltex Plus Wicking Yarn: This advanced fiber technology actively draws moisture away from the skin, allowing it to evaporate quickly and keep the wearer dry during physical activity.
- Two-Button Slant Top Placket: Provides a classic, professional aesthetic that sits cleanly against the chest, ensuring a smart appearance for customer-facing roles.
- Reinforced Taping: Taped back neck, inner collar, and shoulder seams provide structural integrity, preventing the garment from losing its shape after repeated wear and laundering.
- Side Vents and Straight Hem: These design elements allow for a better range of motion and ensure the shirt sits neatly when worn untucked, providing a contemporary finish.
- Double-Stitched Construction: The armholes and shoulders feature double-stitching to provide extra strength at the most common stress points, extending the lifespan of the uniform.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester pique, this garment is designed for durability without sacrificing comfort. The lightweight fabric feels substantial enough to maintain a professional drape while being light enough to facilitate airflow. The inclusion of Cooltex Plus technology means the fabric does more than just cover; it manages the microclimate between the skin and the shirt. The 1x1 rib knit collar and open cuffs provide a consistent fit that resists the 'curling' often seen in lower-quality alternatives.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This performance polo is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery, and choosing the right method depends on your branding requirements. For a traditional, authoritative professional look, we recommend embroidery. The pique knit supports high-stitch-count logos beautifully, providing a textured, premium finish for chest or sleeve branding.
If your branding involves large, bold graphics or vibrant colour gradients, our technical print processes are equally effective. Since 1976, our Telford-based team has refined the art of customisation, ensuring that every logo—whether stitched or printed—is applied with precision to maintain the garment's performance characteristics.
Use Cases
The KK444 is particularly well-suited for the hospitality industry, event management, and active facility roles where staff are on the move but must remain presentable. Its moisture-wicking properties make it an ideal choice for summer uniforms or for environments with high ambient temperatures, such as kitchens or busy retail floors.

MyWorkwear has been a cornerstone of the British workwear industry since 1976. Operating from our specialized facility in Telford, we combine decades of expertise with modern production techniques. We understand that your uniform is a reflection of your brand's standards, which is why we handle all customisation in-house to ensure the highest levels of quality control and durability.
Practical Advice
With a size range spanning from XS to 5XL, this polo is designed to accommodate entire teams comfortably. Because of the regular fit and performance fabric, it works exceptionally well as a standalone piece in warmer months or as a breathable base layer under a softshell jacket when the temperature drops. We suggest reviewing the size guide to ensure a professional fit across your workforce.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance moisture-wicking properties of the Cooltex Plus yarn, we recommend washing this garment as a synthetic at 30°C. Using a lower temperature prevents the polyester fibers from becoming heat-stressed, which helps preserve the garment's shape and technical capabilities over time.
Avoid the use of bleach, as this will aggressively break down the synthetic fibers and cause significant discolouration. Similarly, dry cleaning and tumble drying should be avoided; the high heat and harsh chemicals involved in these processes can damage the pique structure and degrade any custom branding applied to the shirt.
If ironing is required, use a low heat setting. High temperatures from an iron can cause polyester to glaze or even melt, which would permanently ruin the professional finish of your uniform.
