Product Overview
The Asquith & Fox Men's GlacierTech polo is a sophisticated technical garment engineered for professionals who require both a smart appearance and high-performance functionality. Designed with a contemporary fit, this polo shirt moves beyond standard workwear by incorporating advanced textile technology to ensure comfort during long shifts or active duties. Its clean lines and knitted collar provide a polished aesthetic that remains consistent even in demanding environments.
Key Features
- Quadcool four-channel yarn: This specialist fibre is engineered to provide exceptional moisture management, actively drawing perspiration away from the skin to the surface of the fabric.
- Sweat-wicking technology: By promoting rapid evaporation, this technology ensures the wearer remains dry and fresh, which is vital for maintaining professional standards throughout the day.
- Side vents: These integrated vents allow for a greater range of movement and improved airflow, preventing the garment from feeling restrictive.
- Knitted collar and 2-button placket: These classic design elements ensure the polo maintains its shape and provides a formal touch suitable for various corporate or hospitality settings.
- High colour retention: The polyester construction is specifically chosen for its ability to hold dye, ensuring your company colours stay vibrant after repeated laundering.
Design & Performance
The performance of this polo shirt lies in its medium-weight polyester construction. Unlike traditional cotton, this technical fabric is designed to facilitate air circulation, preventing the build-up of heat. The contemporary fit offers a tailored silhouette that looks professional without being overly tight, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of body types from S to 5XL. The fabric is resilient and designed to withstand the rigours of daily wear while maintaining a soft feel against the skin.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery. For a truly professional and traditional finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names; the stable knit of the fabric ensures that the stitching remains crisp and durable. If you require a larger, more impactful design for events or promotional work, our high-quality printing process provides a bold finish that complements the technical nature of the fabric.
Every customisation is handled by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility. With MyWorkwear's heritage stretching back to 1976, we ensure that your branding is applied with the technical precision your business deserves.
Use Cases
The GlacierTech polo is ideally suited for the hospitality sector, where staff must remain cool under pressure while looking immaculate. It is also an excellent choice for corporate team-building events, retail environments, or as a base layer for tradespeople who require a more breathable alternative to standard cotton shirts. Given its moisture-wicking properties, it is particularly effective for those working in climate-controlled environments or outdoor summer roles.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please note the contemporary fit is designed to be slightly more fitted than a traditional heavy-duty work polo. For those who prefer a more relaxed feel, we recommend reviewing our size guide, which extends up to a 53-inch chest. This polo layers exceptionally well under softshell jackets or jumpers without adding unnecessary bulk.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance characteristics of the Quadcool yarn and ensure the longevity of your custom branding, it is important to follow the recommended care routine. Washing the garment at 60°C is advised to effectively remove oils and bacteria, ensuring the polo remains hygienic and fresh for every shift.
We strongly advise against the use of bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and cause significant damage to the colour and any applied logos. When drying, avoid the tumble dryer; the technical fabric is designed to be quick-drying and should be hung to air dry to prevent heat-related shrinkage or distortion.
If ironing is necessary, use a low setting. High heat can damage the synthetic fibres and potentially affect the adhesive used in printed designs. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals involved are unnecessary for polyester and can impair the sweat-wicking properties of the fabric.
