Product Overview
The Kustom Kit KK902 is a refined take on the traditional fleece, specifically designed for corporate environments where professionalism is as important as temperature control. This regular-fit microfleece provides an efficient thermal layer without the cumbersome weight often associated with outdoor gear. It strikes a balance between a functional uniform and a smart casual garment, making it a staple for businesses across the UK looking to maintain a consistent brand image.
Key Features
Anti-pill microfleece fabric: This ensures the surface remains smooth and free from bobbles, extending the professional appearance of the garment through repeated wear and washing.
Secure zipped side pockets: These feature self-fabric pocket bags and self-colour metal zips, providing a safe place for essentials without compromising the sleek silhouette of the jacket.
Double layered collar: Offers enhanced structure around the neck, providing additional warmth and a more formal look than single-layer alternatives.
Taped shoulder seams: These reinforce the most stressed areas of the garment, ensuring it holds its shape and survives the rigours of daily work life.
Twin-needle finishing: The cuffs and welt feature twin-needle stitching, which provides a clean, durable finish that prevents fraying.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% anti-pill microfleece polyester, this garment is engineered for durability and comfort. The fabric's low-pile density is specifically chosen for its compact nature, which prevents the "spongy" feel of heavier fleeces while retaining heat effectively. The contemporary styling is highlighted by subtle cover seam detailing on the shoulders, collar, and front panels, providing a modern aesthetic that suits a wide range of industries. The fabric is soft to the touch, ensuring comfort throughout a long shift.
Customisation: Embroidery Only
While the KK902 is a versatile garment, we offer embroidery as the primary method of customisation for this item. The microfleece texture is ideally suited for high-density stitching, which sits proudly on the fabric surface rather than sinking into the pile. Our in-house embroidery team, operating since 1976, uses precision machinery to ensure your logo is rendered with crisp detail. Embroidery provides a premium finish that complements the corporate styling of this fleece, ensuring your branding looks as professional as the garment itself.
Use Cases
This microfleece is particularly effective for office-based staff who require an extra layer during the winter months, or for customer-facing representatives in sectors such as facility management, hospitality, and logistics. Its lightweight nature also makes it an excellent mid-layer for tradespeople working in fluctuating temperatures where a heavy coat would be too restrictive.

Practical Advice
The KK902 offers a wide size range from XS to 3XL to accommodate your entire team. Given its regular fit, we suggest selecting your usual size for a comfortable layering experience. If you intend to wear this as a primary outer layer over heavy shirts or sweatshirts, you may wish to consult the size guide to ensure a professional fit across the chest and shoulders. The tear-out back neck label is also a useful feature for those who find traditional tags irritating during long days.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of the microfleece and your embroidered logo requires following specific care protocols to ensure the garment lasts as long as intended.
We recommend a synthetic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove everyday dirt while protecting the polyester fibres from heat damage, which can cause the fabric to lose its soft texture. Avoid the use of bleach at all costs, as harsh chemicals will degrade the synthetic fibres and cause the thread of your embroidery to lose its colour and strength.
When ironing, use a low heat setting—often referred to as the 'one dot' setting. It is vital to avoid direct contact between the iron and the embroidered area to prevent melting the polyester threads or distorting the design. This garment should not be tumble dried or dry cleaned; air drying is the most effective way to preserve the shape and anti-pill properties of the fabric.
