Product Overview

The AWDis Just Polo's Long Sleeve Tipped Polo represents a sophisticated evolution of the classic workwear staple. Combining a modern fashion-led fit with traditional styling elements, this garment serves as an excellent foundation for a professional corporate uniform or high-quality retail merchandise. The inclusion of long sleeves extends the versatility of the polo through the cooler months, while the contrasting tipping on the collar provides a subtle, distinguished detail that sets it apart from standard solid-colour alternatives.

Key Features
  • The modern and stylish fit ensures a contemporary appearance that looks professional without being overly restrictive.
  • Contrasting collar tipping adds a touch of visual interest, elevating the aesthetic above a basic utility garment.
  • Ribbed cuffed sleeves provide a secure fit at the wrist, preventing sleeves from sagging and ensuring a tidy profile throughout the day.
  • A three-button placket with dyed-to-match buttons offers a seamless, high-end finish that complements the overall garment colour.
  • Twin-needle stitching detail on the armholes and bottom hem increases the structural integrity of the polo, ensuring it withstands the rigours of regular wear.

Design & Performance

Constructed from 100% combed ringspun cotton, this polo shirt offers a superior level of softness and comfort against the skin. The combing process removes shorter fibres and impurities, resulting in a smoother, stronger yarn that provides a refined surface finish. This medium-weight fabric is substantial enough to hold its shape well while remaining breathable for all-day wear.

The performance of the garment is further enhanced by the taped neck, which provides additional comfort and prevents the neckline from stretching out over time. The 1x1 ribbed flat collar is designed to maintain its crisp appearance, ensuring your team looks as professional at the end of their shift as they did at the start.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment has been specifically engineered to serve as a canvas for high-quality branding. For those seeking a sophisticated and authoritative appearance, embroidery is highly recommended. The stable knit of the combed cotton allows for high-density stitching, making it ideal for intricate company logos or individual names on the chest.

Alternatively, the smooth surface of the ringspun cotton is perfectly suited for various printing techniques. This is particularly effective for larger, bolder designs across the back or chest where vibrant colour reproduction is a priority. Based in Telford, our expert in-house team has been refining these customisation techniques since 1976, ensuring your branding is applied with precision and longevity in mind.

Use Cases

This long-sleeve polo is a versatile choice for a variety of professional settings. It is particularly well-suited for customer-facing roles in the service and retail industries where a smart-casual appearance is required. It also provides an excellent solution for office-based staff who require a comfortable uniform that bridges the gap between formal shirts and casual t-shirts during the autumn and winter seasons.

Practical Advice

This polo features a modern fit, which is designed to be more tailored than a traditional oversized garment. If you prefer a more relaxed or generous feel, you may wish to consider ordering a size up. For those layering this item under a sweatshirt or jacket, the ribbed cuffs will ensure the sleeves stay comfortably in place without bunching up at the wrist.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and the vibrancy of your custom branding, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Lower temperature washing is not only gentler on the cotton fibres but also helps to prevent any applied branding from premature wear.

Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the natural cotton fibres and cause significant discolouration to both the garment and your logo. For drying, a low tumble dry setting is advisable to minimise shrinkage, though air drying is always preferred for extending the life of decorated workwear.

If ironing is required, use a low heat setting and ensure you iron the garment on the reverse side. Applying direct heat to a printed or embroidered area can damage the design, potentially ruining the professional finish of your uniform. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the solvents used can interfere with the garment's construction.
