Product Overview
The Henbury HB477 Women's Sleeveless Coolplus Polo Shirt is a technical solution for professionals who require a blend of smart aesthetics and moisture-regulating performance. Crafted from Henbury’s signature micro-piqué fabric, this polo is engineered for environments where temperature control is essential. The sleeveless design provides unrestricted movement, making it particularly suitable for the hospitality, sports, and corporate travel sectors.
Key Features
- Coolplus Micro-Piqué Fabric: This technical polyester construction is designed to wick moisture away from the skin, ensuring the wearer remains dry and comfortable during long shifts.
- Four-Button Slimline Placket: Features dyed-to-match pearlised buttons that provide a clean, professional finish and allow for adjustable ventilation.
- Ribbed Collar and Armholes: These structural elements help the garment maintain its shape and professional appearance even after repeated laundering.
- Henbury Cut-Out Label: Minimises irritation at the neck and allows for easy rebranding if required.
- Coordinated Range: This style integrates seamlessly with the wider Coolplus collection, allowing for a consistent team look across different garment types.
Design & Performance
The performance of this polo shirt lies in its Coolplus technology. Unlike standard polyester, the micro-piqué weave is breathable and designed to handle the rigours of active work environments. The fabric is substantially weighted to ensure it drapes well and maintains a professional silhouette, while remaining light enough to offer cooling properties in warmer climates or high-intensity roles. Its durability is further enhanced by several industry accreditations, including WRAP and Oeko-Tex Standard 100, certifying that it meets high ethical and safety standards.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery, handled by our expert in-house team in Telford. For a traditional, professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names on the chest. The stable micro-piqué weave supports high-density stitching exceptionally well.
Alternatively, if your branding requires larger, more vibrant graphics, our printing processes are highly effective on this smooth polyester surface. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been refining these techniques to ensure your branding remains sharp and durable throughout the life of the garment.
Use Cases
This sleeveless polo is versatile enough for front-of-house hospitality roles where a smart yet breathable uniform is required. It is equally at home in corporate sports environments or as part of a travel uniform for teams operating in warmer climates. The broad size range from XS to 3XL ensures it can accommodate a full workforce.

Practical Advice
The HB477 offers a regular fit, which provides a balance between a tailored look and comfort. For those working in layered environments, this sleeveless design fits comfortably under a lightweight knitwear piece or a corporate blazer without adding bulk at the arms.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and professional appearance of your polo, we recommend a domestic wash at temperatures up to 60°C. This higher temperature capability is ideal for hospitality environments where hygiene and thorough stain removal are priorities.
It is critical to avoid the use of fabric softeners. Softeners can coat the fibres and significantly reduce the moisture-wicking properties of the Coolplus fabric, rendering the cooling technology less effective. Similarly, do not use bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and cause colour fading.
For drying, use a low tumble dry setting or air dry to prevent heat damage. If ironing is required, use a cool setting to avoid glazing the micro-piqué surface. Washing dark colours separately will ensure the vibrancy of the fabric is preserved over time.
