Product Overview

The Henbury HB640 flat-fronted chinos are a sophisticated choice for those requiring a professional appearance without sacrificing daily comfort. Engineered for versatility, these trousers bridge the gap between formal tailoring and practical workwear, making them an essential addition to any corporate or hospitality uniform. The flat-front design offers a clean, contemporary silhouette that remains sharp throughout the working day.

Key Features

  • Flat-Front Straight-Leg Cut: Provides a modern, streamlined aesthetic that fits well across various body types while maintaining a professional profile.
  • Functional Pocket Configuration: Includes two front side pockets, two button-through back pockets, and a dedicated ticket pocket for secure storage of small essentials.
  • Dyed-to-Match Buttons: Every detail is considered, with buttons matched to the fabric colour to ensure a cohesive and understated finish.
  • Integrated Belt Loops: Allows for the addition of a belt to ensure a secure and personalised fit, vital for active roles.

Design & Performance

These trousers are constructed from a robust 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend. This composition is specifically chosen for the demands of the workplace; the polyester provides excellent colour retention and crease resistance, while the cotton ensures breathability for the wearer. The result is a sturdy, mid-weight fabric that feels substantial and durable, designed to withstand the rigours of repeated wear and laundering while maintaining its shape.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth, high-quality finish of the poly-cotton blend makes these chinos an excellent canvas for customisation. For a traditional and high-end professional look, we recommend embroidery—ideal for company logos or staff names on the pocket area. Should you require larger or more vibrant branding, our printing services provide a crisp finish that adheres well to the fabric.

Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting garment customisation since 1976. Every order is handled with the expertise required to ensure your branding looks as professional as the trousers themselves.

Use Cases

These chinos are particularly well-suited for hospitality staff, front-of-house teams, and corporate office environments. They provide a smarter alternative to standard cargo trousers while remaining more durable than high-street fashion chinos. With sizes ranging from 30" to 44" and multiple leg lengths, they are a practical choice for outfitting a diverse workforce.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, please note that these chinos offer a straight-leg fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend considering the fit of your current uniform to ensure maximum comfort during active shifts. The inclusion of a long leg option is ideal for taller members of your team who require a clean break at the shoe.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and professional appearance of your trousers, we recommend a synthetic wash at 40°C. This temperature effectively removes daily grime without placing undue stress on the poly-cotton fibres.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric strength and cause significant discolouration. When drying, use a low tumble dry setting to prevent excessive shrinkage, and always dry the garment out of direct heat or sunlight to preserve the depth of colour.

When ironing, use a low heat setting and iron on the reverse of the fabric. This is particularly important for customised garments, as it protects both the fabric finish and any applied embroidery or print from heat damage. For the best results, wash and dry the trousers inside out and keep dark colours separate to prevent dye transfer.
