Product Overview
The Finden & Hales Panel polo is a high-performance garment engineered for those who require both style and functionality during physical activity. Crafted from a technical Birdseye mesh fabric, this shaped polo is designed to provide a contemporary fit that moves with the wearer. The inclusion of contrast side panels and piping offers a distinct, athletic aesthetic that ensures your team stands out, whether on the field or in a fast-paced work environment.
Key Features
- Permanent wicking fabric ensures moisture is efficiently drawn away from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable during intense exertion.
- Contrast self-fabric side panels with piping provide a modern, sporty silhouette and increased visual interest.
- Dyed-to-match buttons featuring contrast stitching offer a subtle but deliberate touch of quality and design consistency.
- A flat knit, shorter collar maintains a neat and professional profile without the bulk of traditional polo collars.
- Binding at the sleeve cuffs helps the garment retain its shape through repeated wear and washing.
Design & Performance
Constructed from 100% polyester birdseye mesh, this polo is exceptionally lightweight and breathable. The "permanent" nature of the wicking properties means the fabric’s ability to manage moisture is built into the fibres themselves, rather than being a temporary surface treatment. This ensures the garment continues to perform at its peak long after you have put it through its paces. The textured birdseye weave not only aids in airflow but also provides a professional finish that resists the clinging often associated with standard synthetic sports shirts.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This panelled polo is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your brand identity. Embroidery is the preferred choice for a sophisticated, professional finish on logos or staff names, offering a durable and high-quality texture that complements the garment's construction. For larger, more vibrant designs or sponsorship logos across the back, our high-precision printing techniques provide a bold and clear result.
Our experienced team in Telford has been perfecting the art of garment customisation since 1976. We handle every stage of the process in-house, ensuring that your branding is applied with the technical expertise required to match the performance of the fabric.
Use Cases
This garment is perfectly suited for sports teams, leisure staff, or corporate events where an active, modern image is required. It is also an ideal choice for tradespeople working in warmer conditions who require a professional appearance without sacrificing the comfort of moisture-wicking technology.

Practical Advice
The Finden & Hales Panel polo offers a contemporary fit; we recommend reviewing the size guide, which covers sizes from XS through to 2XL, to ensure the best silhouette for your team. Because this is a lightweight performance fabric, it works exceptionally well as a standalone piece in summer or as a breathable base layer under a softshell jacket in cooler conditions.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-performance wicking properties of the birdseye mesh, we recommend washing this polo at 40°C on a synthetic cycle. Using the correct cycle prevents unnecessary stress on the polyester fibres, extending the life of the garment.
It is important to wash similar colours together to prevent any dye transfer, particularly with the contrast panels. Please avoid using fabric softeners, as these can coat the wicking fibres and significantly reduce the fabric's ability to manage moisture. Similarly, do not use bleach, as this will damage the technical structure and colour of the polo.
For drying, use a low temperature on your tumble dryer to avoid heat damage, or better yet, air dry. If ironing is required, use a cool iron on the reverse of the garment to protect both the fabric and any custom print or embroidery. This garment should not be dry cleaned.
