Caring for your product
To maintain the technical wicking properties of the Coolplus fabric, it is vital to follow the care instructions precisely. We recommend a synthetic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove dirt and sweat without damaging the integrity of the polyester fibres.
It is crucial that you do not use fabric softener. Softeners can coat the technical fibres, effectively 'clogging' the moisture-wicking channels and significantly reducing the garment's performance. Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric strength and cause the contrast piping to bleed or discolour.
For drying, use a low temperature setting on your tumble dryer. Excessive heat can cause synthetic fabrics to shrink or lose their shape. If ironing is necessary, use a cool iron on the reverse side to protect any applied customisation and ensure the piping remains crisp. Do not dry clean, as the chemicals used in the process are too harsh for this performance material.
