Product Overview
The Finden & Hales All-weather robe is a well-engineered piece of equipment designed to provide substantial protection and warmth in unpredictable outdoor environments. Constructed as a versatile, oversized outer layer, this robe is more than just a jacket; it serves as a mobile changing station and a reliable shield against the elements. Its generous proportions allow the wearer to change clothing underneath the garment with ease, making it indispensable for sports teams, event staff, and outdoor enthusiasts who need to maintain their core temperature while transitioning between activities.
Key Features
- Sherpa fleece lining: This thick, insulating lining provides exceptional thermal retention, ensuring the wearer remains warm even in biting winds and cold temperatures.
- Water-resistant nylon outer: The durable exterior acts as a barrier against moisture and wind, keeping the internal environment dry during light rain and showers.
- Three-piece hood: Designed for an ergonomic fit, the hood provides comprehensive coverage and protection for the head without compromising visibility.
- Double-ended centre zip: The high-quality, full-length zip can be opened from both the top and bottom, offering greater flexibility for movement or when sitting down.
- Embroidery access zip: A dedicated internal zip allows for direct decoration, ensuring that branding can be applied neatly without sewing through the sherpa lining.
Design & Performance
Engineered for durability, the robe features a 100% nylon outer fabric that stands up to the rigours of outdoor use. The interior is fully lined with a high-loft 100% polyester sherpa fleece, which feels soft against the skin and provides immediate warmth. Practicality is at the heart of the design, with fleece-lined zipped pockets to keep hands warm and a dedicated internal water-resistant pocket to protect electronic devices from dampness. Side vents are included to allow for a natural range of motion, ensuring the robe remains comfortable whether you are walking, standing on the sidelines, or getting changed.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This garment is designed with professional branding in mind. Embroidery is highly recommended for a superior, long-lasting finish on company or team logos, especially given the dedicated access zip which allows for a clean application. For larger, more prominent designs such as sponsor names or event branding across the back, our high-quality printing service provides a bold and clear finish. Our in-house team in Telford, with expertise dating back to 1976, ensures every garment is finished to an exacting standard.
Use Cases
This robe is the ideal choice for sports teams waiting on the sidelines, wild swimmers needing to change and warm up quickly, and event organisers working in exposed conditions. Its professional appearance also makes it suitable for corporate outdoor events or as a branded uniform for staff working in the recreational and leisure sectors.

Practical Advice
This robe is designed with a roomy, oversized fit to facilitate changing underneath. We recommend selecting a size based on whether the wearer intends to use it as a changing robe or simply as a large winter coat. The one-size approach is categorised into two broad fit ranges to ensure appropriate length and volume for different body types.
Caring for your product
To ensure the technical fabrics continue to perform effectively, we recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Higher temperatures can damage the water-resistant coating on the nylon and cause the sherpa fleece to lose its insulating loft.
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners during the wash cycle. Softeners are particularly detrimental as they coat the fibres and significantly reduce the fabric's ability to repel water and manage moisture.
The robe should be hung to air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the garment, as high heat from these processes can melt the synthetic fibres and permanently distort the shape of the robe. Always wash similar colours together to maintain the clarity of the fabric's colour.
