Product Overview
The Build Your Brand BY122 Premium Combed Jersey T-shirt represents a departure from the restrictive nature of traditional workwear. Engineered with a contemporary oversized silhouette, this garment prioritises both wearer comfort and a modern aesthetic. By utilizing high-quality combed cotton, Build Your Brand has created a T-shirt that feels as professional as it looks, providing a substantial base for your company’s branding efforts.
Key Features
Combed cotton construction ensures a smoother and stronger fabric compared to standard cotton, providing enhanced durability for daily use.
The wide cut and overcut shoulders offer a relaxed, modern fit that allows for unrestricted movement, essential for active roles.
A close round neckline provides a structured look that holds its shape, preventing the garment from appearing untidy after a long shift.
The tagless design eliminates the irritation of traditional neck labels, improving overall comfort for the wearer during extended periods.
Design & Performance
This T-shirt is manufactured from 100% combed cotton single jersey. The combing process is a technical refinement that removes short, prickly fibres and impurities, leaving only the longest, strongest strands. This results in a medium-weight fabric that is remarkably soft yet resilient enough to withstand the rigours of a professional environment. The choice of a single jersey knit provides natural stretch and breathability, while the generous chest measurements ensure the shirt does not cling, maintaining a professional profile for all body types.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The smooth, refined surface of the combed jersey makes this an ideal candidate for customisation. For those seeking high-impact, large-scale designs, the fabric provides a stable and consistent surface for printing, ensuring sharp lines and vibrant colours. Alternatively, the medium-weight nature of the material is perfectly suited for embroidery. Our in-house team in Telford uses precision machinery to apply logos and names that will remain secure without pulling the fabric. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has specialised in these techniques, ensuring that your branding is applied with technical excellence.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically designed for businesses that wish to project a more fashion-forward or relaxed image. It is an excellent choice for staff in creative agencies, modern retail environments, or the hospitality sector. Its durable construction also makes it a viable option for tradespeople who prefer a looser, more breathable fit than a standard-cut T-shirt provides.

Practical Advice
Please note that this T-shirt is designed with an oversized fit. The chest measurements are significantly more generous than standard garments—for example, a size Small is tailored to a 43-inch chest. We recommend reviewing your team's measurements against our sizing guide. If a more traditional, closer fit is required, you may consider selecting one size smaller than your usual choice.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity of the combed cotton and the vibrancy of your customisation, we recommend a gentle machine wash at 30°C. Higher temperatures can lead to unnecessary fibre shrinkage and may affect the longevity of printed logos.
Always wash and iron the garment inside out. This protects the exterior finish of the cotton from the mechanical action of the wash cycle and prevents direct heat from damaging embroidered or printed branding.
Avoid the use of bleach and do not tumble dry. Bleach will weaken the natural cotton fibres, while the high heat of a tumble dryer can cause the oversized silhouette to distort. For the best results, iron at a low temperature and avoid dry cleaning, as the chemicals involved can be too harsh for both the fabric and the custom elements.
