Product Overview

The Dennys Polyester Bib Apron with Pocket (DE101) is a meticulously designed garment tailored for the rigours of the modern hospitality and catering industries. Combining the heritage of the Dennys brand with contemporary sustainability, this apron is constructed from 100% recycled polyester. It offers a generous and protective fit, ensuring that staff remain presentable and comfortable throughout the longest shifts in demanding environments.

Key Features
  • An adjustable neckband made from self-fabric features a sliding buckle, allowing the wearer to achieve a precise and comfortable fit that avoids unnecessary strain on the neck.
  • The practical front pocket provides a secure location for essential items such as order pads, pens, or hand tools, facilitating efficiency in service.
  • The use of 100% recycled polyester not only supports corporate environmental goals but also provides a resilient fabric that stands up to frequent laundering.
  • Self-fabric ties offer superior durability compared to thinner alternatives, ensuring the apron remains securely fastened even during high-intensity activity.
  • At 71cm wide and 91cm long, the apron provides comprehensive coverage, protecting the wearer's underlying uniform from the inevitable splashes and spills of a busy workspace.

Design & Performance

This medium-weight apron is engineered for performance. The recycled polyester fabric is inherently durable and resistant to many of the common stains encountered in food service and cleaning roles. Unlike natural fibres, this material retains its shape and colour well, even after repeated exposure to the high temperatures required for industrial hygiene.

The garment is backed by a suite of international certifications, including the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. These ensure that the apron is not only produced from recycled inputs but is also free from harmful substances, meeting the high safety standards required for professional workwear. Compliance with BSCI, Sedex, and WRAP further confirms that this product is manufactured under ethical and socially responsible conditions.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The DE101 is an ideal canvas for corporate branding. For a refined and authoritative professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. This method is particularly effective for company logos and individual names, providing a textured, high-quality finish that withstands industrial washing processes.

Alternatively, for large-scale graphics or bold promotional messaging, our high-definition printing services offer a smooth and vibrant result. All customisation is performed in-house at our Telford facility by a team that has been perfecting these techniques since 1976. This ensures that your branding is applied with technical precision, maintaining the professional image of your business.

Use Cases

This apron is specifically designed for professionals in the catering, hospitality, and cleaning sectors. Its robust construction and professional finish make it equally suitable for back-of-house kitchen staff, front-of-house servers, or facilities management teams who require reliable protection and a unified team appearance.

Practical Advice

To ensure the best fit, use the sliding buckle on the neckband to position the bib high on the chest. This maximises protection for the shirt or tunic worn underneath. The recycled polyester material is relatively quick to dry, which can be advantageous in environments where a fast turnaround of clean uniforms is essential.

Caring for your product

To maintain the professional appearance and technical integrity of your apron, it is vital to follow the care instructions precisely. This garment is suitable for both industrial and domestic washing at 65°C. This specific temperature is recommended to ensure the effective removal of oils, food residues, and bacteria, which is critical for hygiene in catering environments.

Failure to follow these temperature guidelines may result in inadequate cleaning or, conversely, unnecessary wear on the recycled fibres. We advise against the use of strong oxidising agents or bleach, as these can damage the polyester structure and lead to the premature fading of your custom embroidery or print. Proper laundering will ensure the garment remains a reliable part of your uniform for an extended period.
