Product Overview

The Dennys Long Sleeve Chef's Jacket is a cornerstone of professional kitchen attire, designed to meet the rigorous demands of the modern culinary environment. This unisex jacket provides a unified and professional appearance for entire kitchen teams, ensuring that every member, from head chef to apprentice, looks the part. The long-sleeve design offers essential protection against heat and splashes, while the classic silhouette maintains the traditional standards expected in high-end hospitality.

Key Features
  • The Mandarin collar stand with topstitching ensures a sharp, structured appearance that remains consistent even during the most demanding service periods.
  • Equipped with stainless steel studs, the jacket offers a secure and durable fastening solution that resists corrosion and survives the mechanical stress of industrial or frequent domestic laundering.
  • Open cuffs are integrated to allow for better air circulation around the wrists, providing much-needed comfort when working in high-temperature zones.
  • The unisex styling provides a versatile fit, making it a practical choice for businesses looking to standardise their uniform across a diverse workforce.

Design & Performance

This jacket is manufactured from a balanced 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend. This specific composition is chosen for its performance characteristics: the cotton provides natural breathability and comfort during long shifts, while the polyester adds necessary durability and colour retention. This lightweight fabric ensures the wearer remains cool without compromising the garment's ability to withstand the daily wear and tear of a professional kitchen.

The garment is backed by impressive ethical credentials. It is certified under the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring it has been tested for harmful substances. Furthermore, with BSCI, Sedex, and WRAP certifications, you can be confident that this jacket is produced in facilities that prioritise social compliance and ethical manufacturing practices.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

For a truly professional finish, we recommend embroidery for this chef's jacket. Our in-house embroidery service allows for the precise application of company logos or individual names, creating a durable and high-quality appearance that can withstand the high-temperature washing required in the food industry. For larger, more vibrant branding, our printing services provide an excellent alternative, ensuring your logo is visible and clear.

This jacket is ideally suited for chefs and kitchen staff working in restaurants, hotels, and catering companies. Its formal design also makes it suitable for staff in open kitchens or culinary instructors who need to maintain a superior level of presentation while performing technical tasks.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, please note the unisex fit is designed to allow for movement. If you require a jacket for warmer months or environments, this style is also available in a short-sleeve version (AF002). We recommend checking size guides carefully to ensure a comfortable fit for active kitchen work.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the hygiene of kitchen wear is paramount. This jacket is designed for a domestic wash at 60°C, a temperature high enough to effectively remove grease and ensure thermal disinfection. Washing at lower temperatures may not sufficiently remove food-based bacteria or oils, which can lead to fabric degradation over time.

To preserve the integrity of the stainless steel studs and the fabric's finish, avoid the use of harsh chemical bleaches unless necessary. For the best results, iron while slightly damp to easily remove creases and maintain the jacket's crisp, professional appearance.
