By blending sustainable recycled materials with advanced technical finishes, these trousers provide a versatile solution for staff who demand durability without sacrificing a smart, tailored appearance. Whether navigating a job site or working in the field, the expert construction ensures you remain protected from both the elements and environmental irritants.
Key Features
- Nine integrated pockets allow for comprehensive storage of essential tools and personal items, keeping your equipment within easy reach at all times.
- An EcoShield DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish provides a resilient barrier against light rain and moisture, ensuring you stay dry during unpredictable weather conditions.
- Nosi Defence technology acts as a safeguard against insect bites, which is a critical feature for those working in rural or overgrown environments.
- UPF 40+ sun protection built into the fabric shields the wearer from harmful UV rays during long shifts outdoors.
- Reinforced panels at the seat and knees increase the lifespan of the garment in high-wear areas, reducing the frequency of replacements and providing better value over time.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a blend of 65% recycled polyester and 35% recycled cotton, the fabric has a peached finish that provides a soft touch against the skin while maintaining significant structural integrity. This lightweight material ensures breathability and ease of movement throughout the working day. The inclusion of 100% recycled zip tapes and BCI-sourced cotton highlights a commitment to environmental responsibility without compromising on industrial-grade performance. A part-elasticated, belted waist offers a secure and adaptable fit, accommodating physical activity with ease.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
These trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery, allowing for versatile branding options to suit your company's aesthetic. For a highly professional and permanent finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names, as it withstands frequent laundering and maintains a premium appearance. Print is an excellent choice for larger, high-impact designs or high-visibility requirements. Our in-house team in Telford, with expertise dating back to 1976, manages the entire process to ensure your branding is executed with precision and care.
Use Cases
Ideal for surveyors, landscape gardeners, and field engineers, the Expert Kiwi trousers excel in roles that bridge the gap between office-based planning and site-based execution. Their insect-proof and sun-protective qualities make them particularly suited for outdoor professionals working in variable climates where protection from the environment is paramount.

Practical Advice
With sizes ranging from 30S to 42L and three distinct leg lengths (Short 29", Regular 31", and Long 33"), finding the correct fit is straightforward. As these are a lightweight trouser, they function exceptionally well as a primary layer in warmer months or as part of a technical layering system when temperatures drop.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance and professional appearance of these trousers, always wash them with similar colours. This prevents dye transfer and ensures the fabric remains looking vibrant.
Avoid the use of bleach or water softeners, as these chemicals can degrade the recycled fibres and strip away the protective EcoShield DWR coating. For drying, a low-temperature tumble dry is recommended to prevent unwanted shrinkage and maintain the garment's shape.
Should the water-repellent finish begin to lose its effectiveness, applying heat via a warm iron or tumble dryer—as per the care label—will help regenerate the DWR treatment. Do not dry clean, as the harsh solvents can permanently damage the technical fabric treatments and Nosi Defence properties.
