Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Women’s Recycled Windrunner is a thoughtfully engineered garment designed to provide reliable protection against the elements while maintaining a focus on sustainability. This lightweight jacket is constructed using a blend of polyester and recycled polyester mesh, offering a breathable solution for active work environments or outdoor promotional events. Its design prioritises both the wearer’s comfort and the practical requirements of modern businesses looking for high-quality, customisable uniform options.

Key Features
  • Recycled Mesh Composition: Utilising 37% recycled polyester, this fabric choice demonstrates a commitment to sustainable procurement without sacrificing performance.
  • Ribbed Cuffs and Hem: These features ensure a secure and comfortable fit, preventing wind ingress and maintaining the jacket's shape during physical activity.
  • Integrated Access for Customisation: A dedicated insert in the back and a zipped lining hem are specifically designed to allow easy access for decoration, ensuring a superior finish for your branding.
  • Adjustable Hood and Full Zip: The hood with its adjustable drawstring and the full-length front zipper provide versatile protection against changing weather conditions.
  • Breathable Mesh Lining: The internal light mesh lining enhances airflow, preventing overheating when the pace of work increases.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a lightweight 63% polyester and 37% recycled polyester blend, this windbreaker is designed for durability and ease of movement. The regular cut is tailored specifically for the female form, offering a professional appearance that does not restrict mobility. The fabric is notably light, making it an ideal choice for a transitional outer layer that can be easily stowed when not required. The inclusion of a tagless neck label further enhances comfort, particularly during long shifts where traditional labels might cause irritation.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This windrunner has been engineered with customisation at its core. The inclusion of a zip in the lining hem is a significant advantage for our production team, allowing us to apply your branding without compromising the internal finish of the garment. For those seeking a traditional, high-end appearance, embroidery is an excellent choice for breast-pocket logos or staff names. Alternatively, the smooth surface of the polyester fabric is perfectly suited for high-impact screen or heat-transfer printing, which is ideal for large-scale logos on the back. Since 1976, our Telford-based team has specialised in ensuring that every logo is applied with precision, reflecting the professional standards of your business.

Use Cases

This jacket is highly versatile, making it an appropriate choice for a variety of sectors. It is particularly effective for outdoor event staff, delivery personnel, or as part of a corporate fitness or charity uniform. Given its lightweight nature and professional finish, it also serves as an excellent promotional item for brands wishing to associate themselves with sustainable practices.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage stretching back to 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in providing high-quality custom garments to businesses across the UK. Based in Telford, our expert team manages the entire process in-house, from the initial consultation to the final embroidery and print. We understand the technical requirements of workwear and ensure that every item we produce meets our rigorous quality standards.

Practical Advice

This jacket is available in an inclusive size range from XS to 5XL, catering to diverse teams. As this is a lightweight, regular-fit windbreaker, we recommend selecting your standard size for a comfortable fit over a single base layer. If you intend to wear thicker sweatshirts or knitwear underneath, you may wish to consider a size larger to ensure full range of motion.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the recycled fibres and the quality of your custom branding, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the fabric’s structure and cause unnecessary wear to printed or embroidered logos.

Bleaching agents should be avoided at all costs, as they will cause significant discolouration and damage the synthetic fibres. Similarly, this garment should not be tumble dried; instead, allow it to air dry naturally to preserve its shape and ensure longevity.

If ironing is required, please use a low setting and avoid direct contact with any printed areas. Dry cleaning is not recommended, as the harsh chemicals used in the process can compromise the mesh lining and the adhesive properties of printed designs.
