Product Overview

The Build Your Brand Raglan Sweat Crew Neck represents a refined approach to the classic sweatshirt. By utilising a raglan sleeve construction, this garment moves the seams away from the top of the shoulders, providing a more ergonomic fit that accommodates movement and reduces friction when worn under outer layers. Constructed from a medium-weight brushed fleece fabric, it offers a soft internal texture that provides consistent warmth without excessive bulk. The cotton-rich blend ensures the garment remains breathable while maintaining the structural integrity required for daily industrial or commercial use.

Key Features
  • Raglan Sleeves: These diagonal seams extend from the underarm to the neckline, offering superior shoulder mobility compared to standard set-in sleeves.
  • Brushed Fleece Interior: The inside of the fabric has been brushed to create a soft, insulating layer that enhances wearer comfort throughout the working day.
  • Ribbed Cuffs and Hem: Wide, elasticated ribbing at the sleeve openings and waist helps the sweatshirt retain its shape and prevents heat loss.
  • FAMA Certified Production: This garment is produced in a facility meeting the high standards of Facility and Merchandise Authorisation, ensuring ethical manufacturing processes.
  • Tagless Design: The absence of a traditional neck label prevents irritation during extended periods of wear.

Design & Performance

The technical composition of 65% cotton and 35% polyester creates a balanced performance profile. The high cotton content provides a natural feel against the skin and excellent moisture absorption, while the polyester component adds essential tensile strength and resistance to shrinking. This medium-weight fabric is substantial enough to provide warmth in cooler environments but remains versatile enough for indoor tasks. The regular fit is engineered to be professional yet accommodating, ensuring the wearer can perform physical tasks without restriction.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This sweatshirt is an ideal canvas for corporate branding. The smooth outer face of the cotton blend is particularly well-suited for various printing techniques, including screen and flex printing, which are excellent for large, high-impact logos or promotional messaging. For businesses seeking a more permanent and traditional finish, the fabric's density easily supports high-stitch-count embroidery. Our in-house team in Telford, drawing on decades of expertise since 1976, ensures that every application is executed with precision, maintaining the professional appearance of your workforce.

Use Cases

Given its sporty yet professional silhouette, this sweatshirt is highly effective for staff in active roles, such as warehouse logistics, delivery services, or site management. Its clean lines and crew neck design also make it suitable for customer-facing roles in retail or trade counters where a smart-casual uniform is required.

Practical Advice

This sweatshirt features a generous size range from S to 5XL, making it an inclusive choice for diverse teams. When selecting sizes for staff who work in cold environments, consider the space required for base layers underneath. The raglan sleeve is particularly beneficial for individuals with broader shoulders, as it avoids the restrictive 'pull' often found in traditional seams.

Caring for your product

To preserve the life of the brushed fleece and ensure your custom branding remains in peak condition, we recommend a gentle machine wash at 30°C. Washing the garment inside out will protect the outer surface and any applied logos from the abrasive action of the washing machine drum.

It is important to avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the cotton fibres and cause significant colour fading. We advise against tumble drying, as the high heat can lead to unwanted shrinkage and may damage the adhesive properties of printed designs. Instead, reshape the garment while damp and allow it to air dry naturally.

If ironing is necessary, use a low temperature and always iron the garment inside out. Direct heat should never be applied to printed or embroidered areas, as this will result in permanent damage to the customisation.
