Product Overview

The Brook Taverner Franca Slim Fit Blouse is a masterclass in professional tailoring, specifically designed for women who require a sharp, contemporary silhouette without compromising on daily comfort. Featuring a sophisticated contrast white rounded collar and a front panel design, this blouse offers a distinctive aesthetic that elevates it above standard corporate wear. The fly front provides a clean, uninterrupted profile, ensuring your team presents a polished and expert image to clients and customers alike.

Key Features
  • Stretch Cotton Blend: By incorporating elastane into the weave, this blouse offers superb stretch, allowing for a full range of movement throughout the working day.
  • Fly Front Design: The concealed button placket creates a streamlined appearance, preventing gaping and ensuring a professional finish.
  • Easy to Iron: Engineered for the modern professional, the fabric blend is designed to resist deep creasing, making maintenance straightforward and time-efficient.
  • Contrast Detailing: The white rounded collar and contrast buttons provide a subtle yet authoritative design touch that distinguishes this garment from traditional office attire.

Design & Performance

The performance of the Franca blouse is rooted in its technical fabric composition. A blend of 57% Polyester, 39% Cotton, and 4% Elastane creates a garment that is both durable and breathable. The polyester ensures the blouse retains its shape and colour through repeated laundering, while the cotton provides essential comfort against the skin. The addition of elastane is crucial for the slim fit; it allows the garment to sit close to the body while remaining flexible enough for active roles. The long sleeves and single button cuff complete a design that is as functional as it is elegant.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The high-quality stretch cotton blend of the Franca blouse makes it an excellent candidate for professional customisation. For a refined and durable finish, we recommend embroidery. A company logo positioned on the chest or cuff provides an authoritative branding touch that stands up well to regular wear. For larger or more intricate designs, our Telford-based team can apply high-precision print. Since 1976, MyWorkwear has specialised in ensuring that custom branding is applied with the utmost care, maintaining the fabric's integrity and professional appearance.

Use Cases

This blouse is ideally suited for front-of-house staff in the hospitality sector, corporate office environments, and luxury retail settings. Its combination of a slim fit and elegant design details makes it a preferred choice for professionals who need to maintain a high standard of appearance while remaining mobile and comfortable.

Practical Advice

The Franca is a slim-fit garment, designed to provide a tailored look that follows the natural contours of the body. If you are between sizes or prefer a slightly more generous fit for layering, you may wish to consider selecting a size larger than your usual measurement. The stretch fabric is designed to be accommodating, but the cut is intentionally sleek.

Caring for your product

To maintain the superb stretch and finish of your blouse, it is important to adhere to the machine-washable instructions. Consistent care will ensure the elastane fibres remain resilient, allowing the garment to retain its slim shape over time.

We recommend avoiding harsh chemicals during the wash cycle to protect the contrast white collar and the integrity of the fabric blend. Proper laundering not only extends the life of the garment but also ensures that any custom embroidery or print remains vibrant and professional for the duration of the blouse's lifespan.
