Product Overview
The B&C Reset lined windbreaker is a technically proficient piece of outerwear designed for those who require weather protection without the bulk of a heavy coat. Constructed from 100% recycled polyester, this lightweight jacket represents a modern approach to workwear, balancing environmental responsibility with professional performance. The garment features a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that is entirely fluorine-free, ensuring you remain dry during light showers while maintaining high standards of sustainability.
Key Features
- Water-Resistant Outer with DWR Finish: The recycled polyester shell is treated to repel water, providing a reliable barrier against the elements during outdoor tasks.
- Recycled Polyester Mesh Lining: This interior layer promotes airflow and moisture control, preventing the internal humidity often associated with non-breathable windbreakers.
- Adjustable Three-Part Hood: The drawcord-adjustable hood offers a precise fit, ensuring your vision isn't obscured when shielding yourself from wind and rain.
- Raglan Sleeves: This sleeve construction allows for a greater range of motion across the shoulders, making it ideal for active roles or manual work.
- Zipped Front Pockets: Secure storage for tools or personal items ensures that essentials remain safe and dry while you are on the move.
- Adjustable Bottom Hem: The drawcord allows you to cinch the waist, trapping heat and preventing cold draughts from entering.
Design & Performance
This windbreaker is engineered for versatility. The lightweight fabric ensures that the jacket is easy to layer over sweatshirts or polo shirts without feeling restrictive. The inclusion of a mesh lining is a critical design choice; it creates a small air gap between the outer shell and the wearer, which significantly improves thermal comfort and breathability during physical exertion. The semi-elasticated cuffs provide a neat finish at the wrist, ensuring sleeves stay in place without the need for constant adjustment.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
Designed with branding in mind, the B&C Reset includes dedicated decoration access on the front and back panels. This makes it an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is particularly effective for small, detailed logos on the chest, providing a textured, professional finish that withstands regular laundering. For larger, more vibrant back designs—perhaps for event staff or outdoor teams—our printing techniques offer high-definition results that stand out. Our Telford-based team, established in 1976, oversees the entire process to ensure your branding meets our rigorous quality standards.
Use Cases
This windbreaker is a staple for outdoor event crews, delivery personnel, or any professional working in changeable UK weather. It is particularly well-suited for high-activity roles where a heavy jacket would cause overheating, but protection from wind and drizzle is still required. Its contemporary unisex fit also makes it a popular choice for corporate promotional wear and team uniforms.

Practical Advice
The B&C Reset is a true unisex fit. We recommend reviewing the size range, which extends from XS to 4XL, to ensure a comfortable fit for all team members. Because it is a lightweight garment, it serves best as a shell layer; if you are working in colder conditions, consider sizing up slightly to accommodate a mid-weight fleece or sweatshirt underneath.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance of the water-resistant coating and the integrity of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can degrade the DWR finish and potentially damage the recycled polyester fibres.
Do not tumble dry this garment. The heat from a dryer can cause the lightweight fabric to shrink or distort, and it can negatively impact the adhesion of printed logos. Instead, hang the windbreaker to air dry naturally.
Ironing should be avoided entirely. Recycled polyester is sensitive to direct heat, which can melt the fibres or cause unrepairable glazing on the fabric surface. Similarly, do not use bleach or dry clean the item, as these harsh chemical processes will strip the protective coatings and weaken the fabric structure.
