Product Overview

The B&C Active polo represents a modern evolution of the classic sports garment, blending a contemporary streetwear aesthetic with high-performance functionality. Engineered from 100% recycled polyester pinhole mesh, this unisex polo offers a sustainable solution for businesses looking to kit out their teams without compromising on style or comfort. The design features a distinctive contrast stripe on the collar and a single-button placket, providing a fresh alternative to traditional workwear silhouettes.

Key Features
  • 100% Recycled Polyester: This choice of material reduces environmental impact while providing a durable, high-performance base for daily wear.
  • Pinhole Mesh Construction: The breathable fabric ensures optimal airflow, keeping the wearer cool and comfortable during physically demanding shifts.
  • Side Seams and Vents: These structural details ensure the garment retains its shape over time and allows for a full range of movement.
  • Back Neck Tape: This internal reinforcement prevents irritation and adds stability to the neckline, enhancing long-term comfort.
  • Tagless Solution: The absence of a physical label makes this polo ideal for rebranding and prevents irritation at the neck.

Design & Performance

This lightweight polo is designed with a silky hand-feel that belies its robust construction. The pinhole mesh fabric is specifically chosen for its moisture-wicking properties, making it an excellent choice for active environments. Unlike standard polyester, the smooth surface of this recycled fabric is specifically optimised to produce bright, crisp results for branding, ensuring your logo stands out clearly against the fabric's texture. The side-seamed construction provides a more tailored, unisex fit that looks professional on all body types.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that your brand identity is paramount. This garment is exceptionally well-suited for both print and embroidery. For a sharp, professional appearance, our Telford-based team recommends embroidery for company logos and individual names, providing a textured, superior finish. Alternatively, the smooth recycled polyester mesh is an ideal canvas for large-scale printing, allowing for bold designs that remain vibrant through repeated wear. Our in-house experts, operating since 1976, handle every stage of the process to ensure your branding is executed with precision.

Use Cases

The versatile design of the B&C Active polo makes it suitable for a wide variety of sectors. It is an ideal choice for hospitality staff who require a smart yet breathable uniform, sports and leisure teams looking for cohesive teamwear, or corporate events where a more relaxed, modern aesthetic is required. Its durability and ease of care also make it a practical choice for travel and promotional merchandise.

Practical Advice

This polo features a true unisex fit, making it a versatile addition to any uniform programme. For a more fitted look, we recommend sticking to the standard chest measurements provided, while those seeking a more relaxed, streetwear-inspired fit may wish to size up. The lightweight nature of the fabric makes it an excellent base layer under a softshell jacket or sweatshirt in cooler environments.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of this polo, it is essential to follow the specific care requirements. We recommend a domestic wash at 60°C; this temperature is effective for removing stubborn stains and maintaining hygiene, which is particularly important in hospitality and active environments.

When drying, use a tumble dryer on a low heat setting. High heat can damage the recycled polyester fibres and affect the integrity of any applied print or embroidery. Similarly, if ironing is required, use a low heat setting to prevent the fabric from glazing or melting.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and cause significant discolouration to both the garment and your custom branding. Dry cleaning is also not recommended, as the chemicals used can interfere with the fabric's breathable properties and the adhesives used in some printing processes.
