Product Overview
The Yoko YK105 Hi-vis padded bodywarmer is a technically proficient garment designed for professionals who require a balance of visibility, warmth, and mobility. Built to withstand the rigours of daily site work, this bodywarmer provides essential protection without the bulk of a full-sleeved jacket. Its intelligent three-layer construction ensures that you stay dry and insulated while remaining fully compliant with safety regulations.
Key Features
- ENISO 20471 Class 2 Compliance: Ensures you remain highly visible in hazardous environments, reducing the risk of accidents on-site.
- Three-Layer Construction: Combines a waterproof outer, a protective mid-layer, and a fleece lining to provide comprehensive weather protection.
- Railway Safety Standard: The Orange/Navy colourway conforms to RIS-3279-TOM, making it suitable for UK rail infrastructure work.
- Dedicated Mobile Phone Pocket: Includes a secure chest pocket with a D-ring underneath for convenient and safe storage of essential equipment.
- Navy Contrast Hem: Positioned at the base of the garment to hide dirt and grease, ensuring a professional appearance is maintained throughout the day.
Design & Performance
This bodywarmer is engineered for durability and performance in challenging conditions. The outer layer is crafted from a sturdy Oxford PU coated polyester, providing a reliable showerproof barrier against the elements. Beneath this, a non-woven mid-layer adds an extra level of protection and structure, while the inner fleece liner provides significant warmth, making it ideal for the colder months. The choice of a densely woven fabric ensures the garment is resilient enough for everyday use in industrial settings.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The YK105 is designed with ease of decoration in mind, featuring specific access points for branding. This makes it an excellent choice for companies looking to unify their team's appearance. At MyWorkwear, our expert Telford-based team has been providing professional garment customisation since 1976. For a traditional and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names. If you require large-scale, vibrant graphics that need to stand out from a distance, our high-quality printing service is the ideal solution.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically tailored for industries where visibility is paramount. It is an essential choice for those working in construction, road safety, utilities, and infrastructure. Because the Orange/Navy variant meets railway standards, it is also a staple for trackside personnel. Its sleeveless design makes it perfect for tradespeople who require full range of motion in their arms while needing the core warmth of a padded layer.

Practical Advice
The YK105 is available in a broad size range from Small to 3XL. When choosing your size, we recommend accounting for the layers you plan to wear underneath. If you typically wear a heavy sweatshirt or a thermal mid-layer, you may find that selecting your usual size provides a comfortable, snug fit, but always refer to the specific chest measurements to ensure optimal movement.
Caring for your product
To ensure this garment continues to provide maximum protection and visibility, it must be cared for correctly. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a synthetic cycle. This helps to preserve the integrity of the waterproof coating and the reflective tapes.
Do not use bleach, as this will cause the fluorescent fabric to fade and lose its safety effectiveness. The garment should not be tumble dried, wrung out, or ironed; excessive heat and mechanical stress can damage the internal padding and the reflective properties. Finally, avoid dry cleaning and ensure the garment is not washed more than 25 times, as the reflective performance may diminish beyond this point.
