Practical Advice
The Flexfit technology means sizing is straightforward but precise. The S/M size is tailored for head circumferences between 55cm and 58cm, while the L/XL is better suited for 58cm to 61cm. Because the cap relies on internal elastication rather than a plastic snapback, we recommend measuring accurately to ensure a secure but comfortable fit that won't cause pressure over long shifts.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and the crisp appearance of the buckram, this cap should not be washed. Submerging the garment in water or agitation in a machine can cause the internal supports to warp, permanently damaging the athletic profile and causing the fabric to pucker.
Chlorine bleach must be avoided as it will degrade the synthetic fibres and cause significant discolouration. Tumble drying and ironing are also prohibited; the high heat from these processes will melt the elastane components, leading to a total loss of stretch and shape. For the same reason, dry cleaning chemicals are too harsh for the twill knit fabric. To keep the cap clean, we suggest a light brushing or a damp cloth for spot cleaning only.
