Product Overview

The TriDri space dye performance t-shirt represents a sophisticated evolution in active workwear. This garment utilizes a specialised space-dyeing technique, where the yarn is treated to create a unique, multicoloured effect before knitting, resulting in a textured aesthetic that is both modern and professional. Engineered from a lightweight polyester and elastane blend, it offers the technical performance required for physically demanding roles while maintaining a sharp appearance that stands out from standard uniform options.

Key Features
  • Space Dye Effect: This yarn-printing technique ensures a distinctive, multicoloured finish for a superior, contemporary look.
  • Sweat-Wicking Fabric: The material is designed to actively pull moisture away from the body, keeping the wearer dry during intense activity.
  • UPF 40+ Protection: Built-in ultraviolet protection helps shield the skin from the sun's rays during outdoor work.
  • Twin-Needle Stitching: Reinforced stitching at the hem and arms provides enhanced durability, ensuring the garment survives the rigours of daily wear.
  • Stretch Composition: The inclusion of elastane allows the fabric to move with the wearer, preventing restriction during movement.

Design & Performance

Constructed with a 93% polyester and 7% elastane blend, this t-shirt is designed for longevity and comfort. The lightweight fabric is smooth to the touch and offers a high degree of breathability, essential for maintaining temperature regulation in fast-paced environments. The crew neck and short sleeve design provide a classic silhouette, while the inherent stretch of the fabric ensures it returns to its original shape after use. Performance is at the heart of the TR101, with the wicking properties ensuring that moisture does not linger on the skin, reducing the risk of chafing and discomfort.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The TriDri performance t-shirt is fully compatible with both print and embroidery, allowing for versatile branding options. Embroidery is an excellent choice for a professional finish, particularly for corporate logos and staff names, providing a durable and high-quality appearance. For those requiring larger, more vibrant graphics, our printing services are ideal. Because of the unique space-dye yarn, we recommend using block-out vinyl and specific inks to ensure your design remains clear and opaque against the textured background. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976.

Use Cases

This t-shirt is an ideal choice for professionals in the fitness and leisure industry, such as personal trainers or gym staff, who require high-performance apparel. It is also well-suited for event crews and logistics teams working in warmer conditions, where the moisture-wicking and UPF protection are most beneficial. Its stylish finish also makes it a popular option for modern corporate gifting or wellness-focused uniform programmes.

Practical Advice

The TR101 features a standard fit, with sizes ranging from S (34") to 2XL (49"). The elastane blend provides a flexible fit that is comfortable for a wide range of body types. If you are choosing this for a team that requires a lot of overhead movement, the stretch fabric will be particularly appreciated. For businesses looking to re-label garments, the cut-away inner label makes this process straightforward and avoids irritation for the wearer.

Caring for your product

To ensure the longevity of the technical fibres and the vibrancy of your custom branding, we recommend a domestic wash at 40°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove perspiration and oils while protecting the integrity of the polyester-elastane blend.

Avoid using bleach or harsh chemical detergents, as these can break down the elastane fibres, leading to a loss of shape, and may cause the unique space-dye colours to fade. For the best results and to maintain the quality of any printed designs, it is advisable to air dry the garment rather than using a tumble dryer, as excessive heat can damage the custom finish.
