Product Overview

The Tee Jays CoolDry Tee is a high-performance garment specifically engineered for professionals who require a blend of technical functionality and a refined appearance. Constructed from a premium CoolDry fabric, this t-shirt is designed to manage moisture and regulate body temperature during physically demanding shifts or in warmer environments. Its lightweight composition and breathable nature ensure that the wearer remains comfortable, while the inclusion of Spandex provides the necessary stretch for a full range of movement without the garment losing its shape.

Key Features
  • Moisture-Wicking CoolDry Fabric: This technical material draws sweat away from the skin to the surface of the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable.
  • Flatlock Stitching: The use of flat seams reduces internal friction against the skin, significantly decreasing the risk of chafing during prolonged periods of activity.
  • Sporty Fit: Designed with a modern, athletic silhouette that provides a professional appearance while allowing for ergonomic movement.
  • Reflective Print Details: Subtle reflective elements are integrated into the design to enhance visibility in low-light conditions, providing an extra layer of safety for outdoor work.
  • Quick-Drying Properties: The micro-polyester blend ensures the garment dries rapidly after washing or exposure to light rain, making it an excellent choice for a busy work rotation.

Design & Performance

The technical sophistication of this t-shirt lies in its fabric composition, consisting of 95% CoolDry micro polyester and 5% Spandex. This combination creates a lightweight fabric that feels natural against the skin but performs like a specialist athletic garment. The Spandex provides essential elasticity, ensuring the t-shirt moves with the body rather than resisting it, which is vital for tradespeople or active staff members. Furthermore, the inclusion of Amfori BSCI and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 accreditations confirms that this garment is produced to high ethical and safety standards, reflecting well on your company’s values.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

Despite its technical, stretchy nature, the Tee Jays CoolDry Tee is an excellent candidate for custom branding. For a high-end, professional finish, we recommend embroidery for smaller chest logos or staff names. This provides a durable, three-dimensional look that withstands frequent laundering. For larger, more vibrant designs—such as company branding across the back—our precision printing techniques are ideal, ensuring the design remains bold without compromising the breathability of the fabric.

Our experienced in-house team at our Telford facility handles every stage of the customisation process. Since 1976, we have been perfecting the application of logos to technical fabrics, ensuring your branding looks as professional as the work you do.

Use Cases

This t-shirt is ideally suited for active professions where temperature regulation is paramount. It is an excellent choice for fitness instructors, delivery personnel, warehouse staff, or any trade operating in high-temperature environments. Its sleek design also makes it a popular choice for corporate events or as part of a modern, layered uniform for staff who transition between physical tasks and customer-facing roles.

Practical Advice

The TJ072 features a sporty fit, so if you or your team prefer a more relaxed or traditional loose fit, you may wish to consider ordering a size larger than usual. It serves as an excellent base layer under a sweatshirt or softshell jacket in colder months, providing effective moisture management while other layers provide insulation.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-performance moisture-wicking properties of the CoolDry fabric, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. We recommend a machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Washing at higher temperatures or with harsh chemicals can damage the technical fibres and the elasticity provided by the Spandex.

Do not soak the garment or use bleach, as this will lead to colour degradation and can weaken the fabric's integrity. To preserve the shape and fit of the t-shirt, it should be air-dried only; avoid the use of a tumble dryer, as excessive heat can cause the micro-polyester to shrink or lose its moisture-wicking capabilities.

If you have chosen a printed customisation, do not iron directly over the decorated area. Additionally, ensure the garment is not exposed to temperatures above 150°C during any finishing processes, as this can cause permanent damage to the synthetic fibres and the custom branding.
