Product Overview
The Stanley/Stella Trekker (STJU242) represents a sophisticated advancement in sustainable workwear, blending technical performance with a modern, retail-inspired silhouette. This premium unisex fleece jacket is constructed from 100% recycled polyester, offering a substantial and insulating layer for those who require warmth without compromising on environmental ethics. The design is characterised by its smart contrast softshell yoke and collar, which provides a textured aesthetic and added resilience in high-wear areas.
Key Features
- Anti-Pilling Finish: The brushed polar fleece fabric is treated both inside and out to prevent the formation of small bobbles, ensuring the garment maintains its professional appearance through repeated wear and washing.
- Secure Storage: Front side welt pockets feature hidden zip closures, providing a secure space for essential tools or personal items while maintaining a clean, streamlined profile.
- Elasticated Binding: The cuffs and hem are finished with elastic binding to help retain heat and provide a secure fit that moves with the wearer.
- Decoration Access: An invisible zip at the wearer's left chest allows for easy access during the customisation process, ensuring a clean finish for your company branding.
- High-Quality Hardware: The nylon coil zip is equipped with a metal zip pull and cord ending for ease of use, even when wearing gloves.
Design & Performance
Constructed as a substantial, heavyweight fleece, the Trekker provides exceptional thermal insulation for colder working environments. The use of 100% recycled polyester highlights a commitment to sustainable sourcing without sacrificing the soft, brushed feel expected of a premium polar fleece. The inclusion of contrast softshell fabric at the yoke and outer collar adds a layer of structural integrity and modern styling, making it as suitable for client-facing roles as it is for active manual tasks. The set-in sleeves and tailored fit ensure a professional appearance that avoids the bulkiness often associated with standard fleece garments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Trekker is an ideal canvas for corporate branding, supporting both print and embroidery techniques. For a distinguished professional appearance, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names; the dense weave of the polar fleece provides a stable base for high-definition stitching. If your requirements include larger, more vibrant graphics, our printing processes offer a bold and durable finish. Every garment is processed by our expert in-house team in Telford, drawing on nearly five decades of experience since our establishment in 1976.
Use Cases
This versatile fleece is perfectly suited for a wide range of sectors, including corporate events, premium retail environments, and outdoor site management. Its sustainable credentials, including GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and PETA-Approved Vegan certifications, make it an excellent choice for businesses looking to align their uniform with their environmental values.

Practical Advice
The Trekker features a modern fit; we recommend reviewing the size guide carefully to ensure the best fit for your team. It serves as an excellent mid-layer during winter months or a standalone outer layer in milder weather. The tear-out tag also allows for complete re-branding if required for retail or specific corporate programmes.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and thermal properties of your fleece, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the recycled polyester fibres and affect the anti-pill finish.
Avoid the use of bleach, as harsh chemicals will degrade the fabric and cause significant discolouration to both the garment and your custom branding. For the same reason, this item should not be dry cleaned.
This garment must not be tumble dried. Allowing it to air dry naturally will prevent shrinkage and preserve the shape of the elasticated bindings. If ironing is required, use a low heat setting of 110°C and avoid direct contact with any printed areas to prevent damage.
