Product Overview

The Stanley Climber 2.0 (STJM189) is a sophisticated evolution in the men's bodywarmer category, balancing technical performance with an environmentally conscious design. As a sleeveless, lightweight quilted garment, it is engineered for the professional who requires core insulation without the restriction of a full jacket. Part of the latest 2025 Visionnaire collection, it is constructed from 100% recycled nylon, offering a sustainable yet high-quality solution for modern workwear requirements.

Key Features
  • High collar construction provides essential protection against the wind, ensuring the wearer remains comfortable in exposed environments.
  • Reverse nylon zip at the centre front offers a streamlined, modern aesthetic while ensuring smooth operation and durability.
  • Zipped welt pockets, enhanced with extra grosgrain pullers, provide secure storage for tools or personal items and can be easily accessed even when wearing gloves.
  • Side panels have been integrated into the design to offer a superior, more tailored shape compared to standard boxy gilets.
  • The adjustable bottom hem, featuring a plastic stopper and elastic cord, allows the wearer to seal in warmth and customise the fit to their specific body shape.

Design & Performance

This bodywarmer is built for both style and substance. The use of 100% recycled nylon provides a lightweight feel that behaves like a second skin, making it exceptionally comfortable for all-day wear. The quilting is consistent and provides even heat distribution, while the internal seams are meticulously finished with binding to prevent fraying and ensure a long-lasting professional appearance. This focus on internal detail reflects the high standards of Stanley/Stella construction, ensuring the garment remains robust even with frequent use in active roles.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The technical fabric of the Climber 2.0 provides a superb canvas for custom branding. For businesses seeking a classic, prestigious look, our in-house embroidery service can render logos and staff names with exceptional precision, providing a tactile and durable finish. If your requirements involve larger, more vibrant graphics, our printing techniques are ideally suited to the smooth surface of the recycled nylon. Managed from our specialist facility in Telford, our team (est. 1976) ensures that every customisation maintains the integrity of the garment while elevating your professional identity.

Use Cases

Thanks to its lightweight insulation and smart aesthetic, this bodywarmer is versatile across various sectors. It is an ideal choice for site supervisors, logistics professionals, and trade owners who need to maintain a professional appearance while working in variable temperatures. Its sleeveless design makes it perfect for tasks that require full arm mobility, such as carpentry, electrical work, or warehouse management. It also serves as excellent branded apparel for outdoor corporate events or as a layering piece for transport staff.

Practical Advice

The Climber 2.0 features an inclusive size range from Small up to 5XL. As this is a medium fit garment, we recommend selecting your standard size for a close-to-body feel. However, if you plan to layer this bodywarmer over a heavy-weight sweatshirt or thick work hoodie, you may wish to consider one size larger to ensure maximum comfort and mobility. The tear-out tag also makes this an excellent option for businesses looking to add their own internal branding.

Caring for your product

To preserve the performance of the recycled nylon and the integrity of the quilting, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C. Washing at lower temperatures helps to protect the synthetic fibres from heat damage and ensures the garment retains its shape over time.

You should avoid the use of bleach, as this will lead to the degradation of the fabric colour and can weaken the quilted stitching. We advise against tumble drying; instead, allow the bodywarmer to air dry naturally to prevent shrinkage. If ironing is necessary, use a low temperature setting and avoid direct contact with any printed or embroidered branding to ensure your logo remains in pristine condition.
