Product Overview

The Stanley/Stella Connector 2.0 is a premium, unisex zip-through hoodie that represents a refined approach to everyday workwear. Crafted from a sophisticated blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester, this garment is a mid-weight solution for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing comfort. The French terry interior provides a soft touch against the skin while maintaining a clean, structured exterior that serves as an ideal canvas for business branding.

Key Features
  • Set-in Sleeves: These provide a tailored fit around the shoulders, ensuring the garment moves with the wearer and maintains a sharp silhouette throughout the working day.
  • Self-Fabric Lined Hood: The double-layered hood offers additional warmth and a more substantial feel compared to single-layer alternatives.
  • Covered Metal Zip: The centre front zip is discreetly covered, providing a sleek, uninterrupted surface that prevents the hardware from catching on equipment.
  • Metal Tipped Drawcords: Round drawcords featuring closed metal tipping and matching metal eyelets offer a durable and high-quality finish that resists fraying.
  • Double-Needle Topstitching: Reinforced stitching at the armholes, cuffs, and hem ensures the hoodie can withstand the rigours of frequent use without the seams failing.
  • Kangaroo Pocket: A classic front pocket design provides convenient storage for essential tools or personal items.

Design & Performance

This hoodie is engineered with a medium fit, striking a balance between a modern aesthetic and the freedom of movement required in active work environments. The fabric composition of 85% organic combed ringspun cotton and 15% recycled polyester ensures a soft handle and excellent durability. The inclusion of 1x1 ribbing at the cuffs and hem helps the garment retain its shape, even after repeated washes and long shifts.

Performance is further enhanced by the internal herringbone tape at the back neck and along the zip, which provides structural stability and prevents the fabric from stretching out of shape. The addition of a self-fabric half moon at the back neck adds a touch of premium detail usually reserved for high-end retail apparel.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Connector 2.0 is specifically designed with customisation in mind. For businesses seeking a traditional and highly durable finish, embroidery is an excellent choice. Our embroidery service is ideal for company logos or staff names, providing a textured, three-dimensional look that conveys authority and longevity.

Alternatively, the smooth surface of the organic cotton makes this hoodie perfect for printing. Large, bold designs or complex graphics are rendered with exceptional clarity. Whether you choose the prestige of embroidery or the visual impact of print, our expert team in Telford ensures your branding is applied with precision, drawing on our heritage in the industry since 1976.

Use Cases

Given its premium finish and sustainable credentials, this hoodie is an excellent choice for modern service industries, creative agencies, and technical trades where a casual yet professional uniform is required. It is equally suited for promotional events where quality is paramount to represent your brand values effectively.

Practical Advice

The Connector 2.0 features a medium fit; we recommend reviewing our size guide to ensure the best fit for your team. Because this is a mid-weight garment, it serves as an excellent layering piece, fitting comfortably over a t-shirt or polo shirt during cooler months without becoming overly bulky.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-quality finish of your garment and protect your custom branding, we recommend a domestic machine wash at 30°C. Using a lower temperature helps preserve the organic cotton fibres and ensures the recycled polyester maintains its structural integrity.

Do not use bleach on this garment. Bleaching agents will damage the sustainable fabric and can cause significant fading or damage to your embroidered or printed logos.

If ironing is required, use a cool setting of 110°C. Excessive heat can negatively affect the recycled polyester content and may damage the specialised inks or threads used in your customisation.

We strongly advise against tumble drying. The mechanical action and heat of a dryer can lead to garment shrinkage and may cause printed designs to crack or peel over time. For the best results, allow the hoodie to air dry naturally.

Finally, do not dry clean this product. The harsh chemicals used in the dry cleaning process are unnecessary for this fabric and could compromise the bond of any printed elements.
