Product Overview

The SF530 Unisex Sustainable Fashion Sweatshirt represents a significant step forward for businesses looking to align their corporate identity with environmental responsibility. This garment is not merely a piece of clothing; it is a well-engineered solution for the modern workplace, blending style with a reduced ecological footprint. Crafted from a blend of regenerated cotton and recycled polyester, this medium-weight sweatshirt offers a soft feel and a contemporary, relaxed fit that moves away from traditional, boxy workwear silhouettes.

Designed with a brand-free aesthetic, it serves as the perfect blank canvas for your company's identity. The unique droptail hem, featuring a curved high front and lower back, provides a modern profile that is as functional as it is fashionable, ensuring the wearer remains covered and comfortable throughout the working day.

Key Features
  • Sustainable Fabric Blend: Utilizing regenerated cotton and recycled polyester, this fabric choice significantly reduces waste while maintaining the durability required for daily professional use.
  • Relaxed Fit with Dropped Shoulders: The generous cut and lowered shoulder seams allow for an increased range of movement, which is essential for active roles or long shifts.
  • Droptail Hem: The curved high-front and low-back design provides extra coverage when bending or reaching, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
  • Ribbed Cuffs and Neck: High-quality ribbing ensures the sweatshirt retains its shape and fit, preventing the garment from becoming misshapen after frequent laundering.
  • Tonal Topstitching: This subtle detailing adds a layer of sophisticated reinforcement to the seams, enhancing the overall longevity of the sweatshirt.

Design & Performance

The performance of this sweatshirt lies in its sophisticated material composition. By combining 60% regenerated cotton with 40% recycled polyester, the fabric achieves a balance between breathable natural comfort and the structural resilience of synthetic fibres. This medium-weight material provides sufficient warmth for indoor environments or as a layering piece for outdoor tasks, without feeling cumbersome.

The inclusion of single jersey back neck tape and facing is a small but critical detail. It prevents irritation against the skin and reinforces the neckline, a common point of failure in lesser garments. The result is a sweatshirt that feels substantial and reliable, designed to withstand the rigours of a busy working environment while maintaining its visual appeal.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This sweatshirt has been specifically designed for easy rebranding. The absence of external branding allows your company logo to take full precedence. At MyWorkwear, our expert team in Telford—where we have been honing our craft since 1976—can apply your branding with precision.

For a sophisticated and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery. It is particularly effective for company logos and staff names, providing a textured, professional appearance that stands up well to repeated washing. Alternatively, if your branding requires large, vibrant graphics or bold promotional text, our high-quality printing services are the ideal choice. Both methods are handled in-house to ensure the highest standards of quality control.

Use Cases

The versatile design makes this sweatshirt suitable for a wide range of industries. It is an excellent choice for creative agencies, retail teams, and hospitality staff who require a modern, approachable look. Additionally, it is a superior option for any organisation looking to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability through their staff uniform, from eco-conscious startups to established firms updating their corporate social responsibility profile.

Practical Advice

The SF530 features a relaxed fit, so we recommend reviewing our size guide carefully to ensure the best fit for your team. This garment layers exceptionally well over a standard polo shirt or t-shirt. For those working in colder environments, the medium-weight fabric fits comfortably under a technical jacket without adding unnecessary bulk.

Caring for your product

To maintain the structural integrity and finish of this sustainable garment, we recommend a machine wash at 30°C on a synthetic cycle. High temperatures can damage the recycled polyester fibres and cause unnecessary shrinkage, so keeping the heat low is essential for the longevity of the sweatshirt.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric strength and cause significant discolouration. When it comes to drying, we strongly advise against the use of a tumble dryer. Air drying out of direct sunlight prevents the fabric from becoming brittle and protects the vibrancy of the dye.

If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and always iron on the reverse of the garment. This is particularly important if your sweatshirt has been customised, as direct heat can damage print or embroidery. Finally, washing dark colours separately will prevent dye transfer and keep your uniform looking sharp and professional.
