Product Overview

The Russell Europe J010M Workwear t-shirt represents a standard of construction rarely found in everyday leisurewear. This medium-weight garment has been engineered specifically for the demands of a professional environment, moving beyond the simple aesthetic of a standard tee to provide a functional piece of equipment. By combining 100% combed ringspun cotton with strategic structural reinforcements, Russell has created a t-shirt that manages to be both exceptionally durable and comfortable for long shifts.

Key Features
  • Double-layered shoulder panels and yoke: These reinforcements provide extra material in high-stress areas, ensuring the garment retains its shape and structural integrity even when subject to the friction of tool belts or heavy machinery.
  • Enzyme-washed ringspun cotton: The enzyme treatment smooths the cotton fibres, resulting in a fabric that feels soft against the skin while remaining tough enough for the workshop.
  • 1x1 rib knit neck trim: The reinforced collar features twin needle cover seaming, which prevents the neckline from sagging or losing its shape after repeated washes.
  • Broad sizing range: Available from XS up to 4XL, this garment ensures a consistent professional appearance across an entire workforce, regardless of build.

Design & Performance

The performance of this t-shirt lies in its fabric composition and weight. Using a medium-weight single jersey fabric, the J010M offers the breathability of cotton with the substance required for industrial use. The combed ringspun cotton provides a superior surface for branding, while the twin needle seaming ensures that the edges are securely finished, preventing the unravelling often seen in inferior products.

With its Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and Amfori BSCI accreditations, you can be confident that the garment has been produced to high ethical and safety standards, making it a responsible choice for your business's uniform requirements.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The J010M is an ideal canvas for customisation. For a truly professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. The substantial weight of the fabric supports the density of embroidered logos and names without pulling or distorting the garment. This is particularly effective for small chest logos that need to withstand frequent laundering.

If your branding requires large, high-impact graphics, such as those used for events or promotional staff, the smooth surface of the ringspun cotton is perfectly suited for high-quality printing. Our in-house team in Telford, drawing on expertise dating back to 1976, handles all customisation to ensure your brand is represented with precision.

Use Cases

This t-shirt is designed for those who work for a living. It is highly suitable for tradespeople, warehouse staff, and logistics professionals who require a uniform that can take a few knocks. Its professional cut also makes it an excellent choice for hospitality and event staff who need to remain comfortable while maintaining a smart, unified appearance.

Practical Advice

This t-shirt is designed with a classic fit. If you are between sizes, we recommend consulting the size guide to ensure a comfortable fit that allows for easy movement on the job. Because of its medium-weight construction, it serves as an excellent base layer beneath a sweatshirt or softshell jacket during colder months without feeling overly bulky.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of this garment, we recommend a domestic wash at 60°C. Washing at this temperature is particularly effective for removing the oils and grime often encountered in work environments, ensuring your team remains presentable.

This garment is suitable for tumble drying, which is essential for busy professionals who need a quick turnaround on their uniform. However, please ensure that you do not use bleach, as this will degrade the cotton fibres and cause the colours to fade prematurely. To protect any custom print or embroidery, it is advisable to iron the garment on the reverse side.
